Really cost effective way of Making Tax Digital and very easy to use

A very simple, easy to use add on to spreadsheets already being used for the New VAT MTD requirements.

Having a small business, I was naturally unhappy about the arrival of Making Tax Digital but I was pleased that there were less costly and onerous options such as bridging software. I researched all of the providers on the HMRC website and after some consideration, decided to opt for 1-Click Accounts. I am really happy with the product, it has made submitting our VAT return very straightforward and simple. Their video which explains how it works was also very useful.

The figure entries should be done there and then on your platform. No need to fill the external excel documents outside your system and then import it to your system. Unneeded waste of time. Your table should be made to allow figure entry direct and the period date is selected at the bottom. One syop solution in one place!!!

Very simple and cost effective solution to Making Tax Digital

Spent a lot of time find the right software to submit the new HMRC VAT returns electronically. Settled on this one and am delighted with the choice. Very easy to use and good clear instructions.

I was struggling with the idea of VAT Online, not being of the computer age but it was simple and easy to follow with 1 Click Accounts.

Just follow the message, click one by one, connects automatically as needed to HMRC, and submit VAT.

I signed up to this service because of the HMRC's MTD requirement. Initially I spent alot of time researching and trialling MTD-compliant online accounting packages. Having found the simplest one that worked for us, it was still way too complicated for our rather simple accounting and VAT which I have been doing happily on Excel for 4 years. Their support was slow and not particularly supportive and when that package stopped providing a live feed of my bank accounts (one of their 'USP's) I decided to see look into the 'bridging' software my accountant had mentioned.
1 Click Accounts is so simple to use and a really good cost considering everyone now has to pay to submit VAT figures digitally now just because some people couldn't type the right ones in!
If your accounts are simple enough for a spreadsheet and you are happy to do your own VAT, this package is the ideal solution for MTD.

Have only used this once, last VAT Quarter, but all worked great, very easy for an old man like me who is use to a pencil to work out VAT,
very impressed with this service and as my next VAT quarter is now due i will be using 1 CLICK ACCOUNTS again to submit my accounts, as i have only used this once it is a 4 Star review, next time i am sure it will be 5 STARS.....

Very simple software concept to use to do the data conversion. Reasonably priced too.
