Still waiting for the locking system of our back door to be fixed after a wait time of five weeks so far, endless emails and phone calls. Our back door cannot be locked until the mechanism is fixed. Very poor customer support and service. Extremely disappointed and frustrated.

I have a Stately Albion park home. First MB&G stopped doing warranty repairs and referred me back to Stately, so the warranty was pointless. Stately kept me waiting 2 years and never addressed the issues which meant I could not have the 3 yearly repaint done. Cue Goldshield Care pachage. I have been paying this for approx 7 years. I advised them in plenty of time that I could not have the painting done and asked if I could have a partial refund. Approx 12 months later still no answer on my request, it's always been referred upwards...... Hmmmm. So my recommendation do not buy Stately Albion, do not trust MB&G warranties and never expect Goldshield Care package to be worth the money you pay. Update: in the interest of fairness Goldshield Care has now offered me a partial refund

The warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on and they can’t even be bothered to answer emails. Waste of time

I paid n £40 a month for 7 years when I needed them they didn’t notice nothing claim went in. Last May , after many emails later nothing, they are a total joke

I’ve submitted claim form on two occasions for my park home flooring which is creaking and very springy. I have not had courtesy of any reply
I’ve filled in forms on their web page, still no reply
I’ve phoned numbers given on their website and been told number is incorrect, try phoning alternative number , but this just rings for ages then get cut off!

Where do I go next? Any help would be appreciated!

TERRIBLE CLAIM EXPERIENCE
In November 2022, my holiday lodge developed a leak in the roof. I made a claim with Goldshield which was declined for a completely irrelevant reason. When I challenged this, they came up with a different reason, one which blamed the lodge manufacturer. The lodge manufacturer threatened to sue them and Goldshield withdrew the accusation. Since then, I have been completely blanked by the insurer. I have written several letters (sent by Special Delivery) to ask for my claim to be reviewed at a higher level (as suggested in their policy booklet). No response. I wrote to the Financial Services Ombudsman - they cannot help with warranty claims. I have even written to the Director of the group of companies which owns Goldshield. No acknowledgement or response. I have had to give up and pay for the roof repair myself.
Needless to say, I cancelled my contract with MB&G Insurance for payments to cover the annual lodge inspection. What is the point of complying with the requirement to have an annual inspection if they aren't going to honour their obligation to review my claim, let alone accept my claim?
And now they are ignoring my claim for a refund of the premiums that I paid (less admin fee) which I am entitled to, in accordance with the policy terms and conditions. I am now preparing a case for the Small Claims Court to recover what is owed to me.

If I could give Gold Shield warranty, as administered by MB&G insurance, no stars I would. It is not worth the paper it’s written on. When defects appeared on my Stately Albion park home within the warranty period MB&G would not honour the warranty and worse, could not or would not provide a reason why. DO NOT BUY STATELY ALBION PARK HOME with this warranty. It is useless.
