My lock wasnt fully opening. I unscrewed the lock and took the deadlock to Golitas in Bolton on High Street and asked him if he had the exact same product for me. He gave me a product, when I opened it, it didnt fit in the door. The head on my original was square and the one he provided was round. I went back to them and advised that this was not the same and I wanted one that had the square head as I had showed him, the gentleman behind the counter said they now all come in a round shape. I checked online with ScrewFix and Toolstation and they did have a sqaure head deadlock. I went back to Golitas and stated that he had been dishonest with me and asked him to provide me with a deadlock which was exactly the same one I had shown him. He said he did not have one and he would not give me a refund. I advised him that I brought the old deadlock to him and he has dishonestly provided me with the incorrect one. He stated that i was "making excuses" and became verbally aggressive and rude. He did not give me a refund and kept the lock as well. Absolutely disgraceful service, was served by Hassan. Avoid this place at all costs, they have zero product knowledge!

I ordered five EPH Combi Pack 4 Programmable RF Thermostats on 5th December 2025. By 15th December nothing had been delivered so I contacted the company by email. I was fobbed off and told to wait to the end of that week - which I did. Still no delivery so I rang Golita and was told that they guy who takes care of lost deliveries would not be back to work till Monday 29th December but the guy to whom I spoke did try to contact Royal Mail but got absolutely nowhere. Now the guy who takes care of such things is back at work - no response !!!!

Further to this post I must say that Golita did eventually step up to the mark and sent me the goods again and it did transpire that Royal Mail had misplaced the original package. I eventually received the original package and Golita arranged to have it uplifted. I was obviously irked at the poor response. Not a smooth transaction and not the quickest. However had Royal Mail delivered on time there would not have been a problem in the first place.

Ordered a few times on their website. Good prices and quick delivery. Very knowledgeable staff always ready to help. Beats talking to a call centre

I used Golita to buy a Rinaii water heater as they had it in stock at a good price. I ordered over Easter weekend so there was a bit of a delay but when I rang Golita they were very helpful and ensured that I got the heater in time.

Much improved service from Golitas these days. Knowledge of products and customers is second to none. Forever a customer!
