My review of Cavendish was removed by Google, despite it being accurate and supported by evidence. I do not believe this is fair or appropriate.
Reviews are meant to reflect genuine experiences, and removing them undermines trust in the platform. It raises concerns about whether larger companies are being protected while individual users’ experiences are dismissed.
I stand by what I said and have evidence to support it.

24E has an amazing gym as well as an amazing staff. Kason has been extremely helpful and trying to accommodate my busy work schedule and the smoothies are second to none!

PNGtree tricked me into purchasing with a pop-up, then after I paid, indicated that I would have to pay more to get the rights to sell my products with their images on them. Their crooked and deceitful methods are wrong. I tried for a refund, which I asked for seconds after signing up. While they say "cancel anytime," you do not get a refund under any circumstances.

i left negative review about one company and of course Google called my post as defamation and did not want to prove on which ground they accuse my post. All they want is me sitting wasting my time and energy to write them and send sensible infos or documents to change their opinion, meanwhile they do not try from their side to respect me and send me details and evidences why they behave like that. Only requesting from me too many things.

Negative, obwohl sachlich begründete, ausführlich geschilderte und bebilderte Rezensionen werden durch Google gelöscht, weil diese angeblich gegen Richtlinien verstoßen. Negative Bewertungen, die aus wenigen Wörtern bestehen, werden dem Anschein nach absichtlich nicht gelöscht. Warum? Weil diese keine oder nur eine geringe Aussagekraft für andere Nutzer haben und dadurch inhaltlich anderen Rezensenten nicht weiterhelfen, dadurch nicht fundiert erscheinen. Je detaillierter, je präziser und durch Fotos belegt schlechte Bewertungen erstellt werden, desto eher werden diese ohne echte Einspruchsmöglichkeit für den Bewertenden radikal gelöscht. Viele der positiven Bewertungen dagegen sind mit wenigen Worten einfach, ohne jegliche Beweiskraft dargestellt, da fehlt jeglicher Bezug zu dem bewerteten Ort. Repräsentativ sind die Bewertungen deshalb keinesfalls. Der Betrachter sollte erhebliche Punktabzüge bei der Gesamtnote mit einkalkulieren. Da dieses schwierig ist, sind die Google Bewertungen in ihrer Gesamtheit nahezu wertlos. Google löscht diverse negative Bewertungen auch nach Jahren, wozu ein vermeintliches Bewertungssystem schaffen, wenn selbst die Plätze und Unternehmen mit schlechten Leistungen am Ende mit blütenreiner Weste dastehen, das sind keine sogenannten echten und repräsentativen Bewertungen.

My start of reviewing was with Google reviews. Recently I became a local guide and have had a interesting experience. Some companies respond but it's mostly automated and they don't really have any intention to work to resolve issues. But some are really good and will reach out to the reviewer personally. No doubt about it on Google I have had the most responses. Google also allows you to critique ! I have not once been denied a publish and I have made more than a few negative reviews on the Google reviews. I believe Google reviews and trust pilot is the best and yelp is also helpful.

The review system is deeply flawed. Negative feedback is consistently filtered out, while positive reviews remain. This creates a biased and untrustworthy rating for businesses. The platform now serves corporate interests, not consumers.

Google are evil. The reviews team are morons. How can they allow one malicious person to write several bad reviews even when they use the same name under a different Google account? Google do nothing about this. Lazy, incompetent and immoral they are.

I will no longer use Google Review. I used it to build a website and clearly their recommendations were totally wrong. Not trustworty.

Worst thing for your business. A customer wanted a change after the 14 day period, when denied due to stains on the garment, customer became abusive.

I had a 4.8 on google reviews, the next day this customer left a negative review to state I racially abused her. When a counter review was left that all was on camera audio and video, I received 8 negative reviews similar context from random people.

Reported to google who removed 5 and left the rest

I tried everything to contact google sadly no joy

In the end I paid a company £400 to remove my google profile listings and all the reviews.

Google reviews can hold your business to ransom they will do nothing about it.

In April 2022, my husband and I became the targets of a malicious individual who has been using fake identities to post defamatory reviews about our business on Google Reviews. Despite providing evidence of harassment, including an FBI report, a restraining order, and threatening messages from the perpetrator, our requests for removal have been ignored.

TripAdvisor and Facebook promptly removed these libelous reviews after reviewing the evidence. However, Google Reviews has not taken any action, and the fake reviews continue to harm our business and reputation.

Google Reviews repeated response to my requests since 2022:

We've detected that you have already submitted these URLs through previous requests. We're either working to respond to these URLs or have already responded, and we ask that you not send repeated requests containing the same URLs as this delays our process.

Google Reviews is irresponsible and should be libel for allowing fake and damaging reviews to live on it's site.
