What I received was not what I purchased. It wasn't even close. The money back guarantee is bogus and intricate. You end up negotiating with an empathetic "bot". I ended up getting 15% back on a purchase of bronze coloured cargo pants. What I got was a pink/peach coloured polyester pair of shorts a la John Travolta. I brought them to a Salvation Army type distribution centre. I forfeited approx. $60. I have successfully purchased items in the past. Lesson learned, investigate company prior to purchasing and strike Grant & Mercer from your list

Horrible online store, one gets cheap shit that has no resemblance to what one ordered. The quality is garbage and the store should be investigated by the better business bureau and sued for misrepresentation of products by consumers association

They shipped me the wrong shorts, nothing like what I ordered. They took a month to arrive and are cheap with no label showing where they were made. When I contacted them they told me I could keep the shorts and they would give me a 10% refund. When I said his was not acceptable they offered me either a 20% refund and keep the shorts or a store credit. Terrible product and awful service.

Same experience as others, slow delivery, customer expense return policy. Misleading presentation of store, merchandise and easy simple returns. This is a scam front for poor quality Chinese fast fashion. Item I purchased was pictured and described as high quality, cotton linen fabric. The actual item was sloppily sew together and made of shiny rayon blend fabric typical of Chinese fast fashion. The website and marketing descriptions are designed to entrap. Dig deeper. I lost $65. Thankfully it wasn’t more.

I would like to give a zero but can't. They present themselves as a Toronto clothing company with images of clothing that looks good. What you get ia clearly make China imports that look nothing like what you order and takes weeks to get to you..

Wrong sizes, wrong colours and then told you would have to pay to return them.

If I could write a minus minus minus minus -1 star I would. Please be aware that this is an company that operates out of China. You will see if junk products in unmarked boxes with Chinese characters. Now I know that products coming from China are perfectly great, but grant Mercer’s are real junk and don’t give you the impression that they’re coming from some sweatshop in China. The products I received were made a plastic when they should’ve been leather shoes. After three emails prompting them I received them four months late. By that time I was out of the country and when I returned, it was past the 30 days that they claim is your period for a return. I don’t think they really honor returns regardless because I said I don’t mind paying for the return if they give me the return address and at that point they shut down or refused to give me any addresses for sending back the shoes. I reported the vendor to Shopify and I aim to get them shut down. Fake products fake people everything fake.

Total scam. Not based in Toronto and all cheap products from china. Bait and switch as the shorts I ordered is nothing like what I received. In order to get a refund they expect me to pay for the freight back to china. Total scam company. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

Negative 5 stars. Scammers, fraudulent merchant and basically thieves. Even though they have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee hassle-free return policy they do not honour it. They take your money and keep half of it to ship it back to the warehouse in China. I see a lot of people on there bought the cargo shorts and got a see-through version of some polyester radioactive garment that will definitely dissolve in to nothing after the first wash. Trying to get my cc company to reverse the charges. Will follow up.

What I ordered wasn’t even close to what I received the shorts were of the poorest quality after several emails and being run around and run around they offered me a refund of 30 % pretty much a slap in the face I asked for a 100% still texting with no resolve I recommend that you stay away from Grant & Mercer as they are crooks

Complete ripoff. Clothing was not close to what was advertised. REALLY cheap.

Ordered a pair Cargo shorts - They are nothing like what they posted - The material is very cheap. They are probably worth 5$ - They are really cheap. I am going to try to return them and see but with all the reviews I am not expecting much. Follow up they offered a replacement item or 15% credit - they are a total scam - they ship from Mississaugha but when returning it has to go to China 50$ shipping - I took another item (shirt) and the item is as cheap. They are a complete scam.

BUYER BEWARE !!! I wish that I would have read all of these reviews before I bought $55 worth of shorts(2), that I will end up washing my car with as they fall apart after 2 washes ! Here is their response from Grant & Mercer to my 4th email complaining. Great FB post & website, terible company:

I would give ‘0’ star if possible. Cargo shorts are wrong colour, extremely poor quality and nothing like pictures or description. Two weeks for delivery with confusing updates. No returns on Sale/Clearance items, which seems to be most of their merchandise. Unfortunately now out over $100 but not going to spend more $$ to try and return. Slick website shows Toronto location but definitely a Chinese ripoff company. DO NOT BUY !!

N’achetez rien avec Grantmercer. Ce sont des voleurs de la pire espèce. Je n’ai jamais reçu ce que j’ai commandé et ils ne veulent pas reprendre les vêtements de piètre qualité que j’ai reçu. Terrible return policies no return for your money back . You get blackmailed pay 50 USA money to return the product. Back and forth for my money back. Then trying to call customer service busy signal for 2 days at least 50 calls. What a joke the shoes I bought were plastic, slippery too small narrow. They say Canadian Toronto

You cannot return the products unless YOU pay $50USD plus per item. They offer a 15% refund and a store credit...which is ironic since I'm returning the product because they are wrong color, wrong size and is quality misrepresented. This is such a scam, I’ve been told that in order to return the poor quality clothing I need to pay 30-80 usd to ship the return back to china. The AI bot that answers their emails kept trying to offer various percentages of the original of return, but this is clearly a scam. Going to report it to my CC company to get the full refund back, and will report to the better business bureau
