The beef cuts are vacuum sealed in 100% barrier proof cryovac film. For more information on US Wellness Meats' Fresh Beef, visit Fresh Chilled FAQ's Blog. This is a one-time shipment. If you would like to order the fresh chilled beef packages again, you will need to place a new order each month as desired. Orders placed after the order deadline will be held to ship the following month. Fresh chilled beef ships separately per the schedule below. I did not notice the division of fat & lean when I placed the order. Unfortunately it was 85-15 & was a bit too much fat for my taste. I notified USWM & they very nicely discounted the price. Much appreciated their attention & concern, 👍🏼👍🏼

What I think about chuck roast: if you put it on display at regular grocery stores with other meat pieces nobody will buy your chuck roast, only customer like me who prefer to eat grass fed, grass finished, due to a lot of films so much films . To eat this chuck roast I cut it to very small pieces especially these so many films. May be this kind of my evaluation because I do not cook. I eat chuck roast also raw.

Great meat! I have ordered this fresh and frozen and it was delicious both ways. When thawing, it is a good idea to put the sealed package in another container, as there is a tendency for the packaging to leak.
