What might look unusual to someone expecting a uniform, mass-produced item is actually completely normal for real, live sourdough. Because our dough is active and naturally fermenting, it will expand and shift shape in transit. Great delivery service and quality sourdough balls which are well packed. Also ordered the pizza sauce and honey glaze which were both amazing. Will be ordering again

Disappointed so far due to the stickiness of the dough and how they atived via the courier. Customer service was excellent but has not rectified my issue as yet.

To address the stickiness you experienced: our dough is intentionally crafted with a high hydration level to yield that light, airy crust with an incredible rise. Because of this, it is naturally stickier than standard mass-produced doughs straight out of the tub.
As highlighted in our user guides and video tutorials, high-hydration dough simply needs a little handling technique—a light dusting of regular flour when removing it from the container, followed by a generous coating of our Pizza Preparation Dust, completely transforms it and stops it from sticking altogether.
Regarding the courier arrival and fully rectifying your issue: if our support team is actively looking into a resolution or courier claim for you, please rest assured that they will follow through and get everything sorted.

The box was badly damaged in transit…
The box was badly damaged in transit which I reported to the courier. They told me to report it to GBOF. A number of bags of dough had burst open due to the damage which I also reported a GBOF. They didn’t come back to me with any offer of recompense or replacement.

Much better
Very disappointing, package arrived damaged, bags weren’t as cold as could be (which is fair given the heatwave) but all the doughballs were much soggier and stickier than they should be, which led to poor pizzas on cooking. Which is a shame as they are normally really good.

So this review, above, was written after a bad delivery leading to a break in the temperature chain, and it appears the dough proved again in transit.
A second batch was received, as a replacement and was spot on, lived up to my previous expectations.
And can recommend GBOF, the courier maybe not so much.

Please contact support. We always try to add additional gel in hot weather to ensure they arrive perfectly, as it would appear they have done for you in the past.
Incorrect gluten free on website which is dangerous
Sorry to leave a one star but when you have “ingredients” on w a website and the first word is gluten free, one would assume the product is gluten free but not. Customer support was fast but they do not accept that is a problem. Gluten is very dangerous to many people and I think you need to study the allergen regulations and product labelling regulations to see your legal responsibility to mark allergen ingredients correctly and in bold and not to use the section called ingredients to, as you say show the range of products you sell. Shame as I could have been a regular customer but now I am just out of pocket.

Our Gluten Free Dough Balls are regularly highly reviewed by customers with gluten intolerrence.
Whilst we also do provide a range of other gluten containing products we recommend customers always check the ingredient lists for allergy information. All of our allergens are highlighted in BOLD.

Absolutely brilliant. I struggled with making the dough balls into pizza (more than likely my fault) but I’ve been supported so well during my failures. They sent me more dough to help. I can’t rate them high enough

Delivery as dispatched 2 days late and…
Delivery as dispatched 2 days late and then the package was stuck with the delivery company for another 2 days.
I contacted company as I was nervous about the quality of the items and the safety of eating them when they had been in transit for so long during a heatwave. I was told as long as they are partially still frozen on receipt then they would be safe for consumption. When they arrived they were fully defrosted and warm to the touch as if they had been sat in the sun. Again I complained and was asked to send images, which I did along with video evidence, I was told they were not received and to send again, which I did with proof they had been sent. I was then told that they would be fine to eat and they should arrive fully defrosted, which was confusing as it contradicted the original instructions.and that I would not receive a refund. The whole process was drawn out and unprofessional. I now have 24 dough balls in the bin and I’m £50 out of pocket and will not be using this company again, neither will my neighbours who told me about the company or any friends and family as they cannot belie the lack of customer service.

To clear up the facts regarding your timeline: our standard delivery terms clearly state that orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days, which is exactly what we achieved here. Your order was not dispatched late.
Furthermore, we explicitly state that our dough will arrive defrosted. As tens of thousands of successful orders and thousands of highly satisfied customers prove every single week, our live dough is perfectly safe to be chilled or refrozen on receipt to use as required.
Arriving fully defrosted is entirely expected and normal for a live product, which is what our team was trying to reassure you of. While we understand you were nervous about the heatwave, throwing 24 premium, perfectly safe dough balls straight into the bin because they weren't ice-cold was an absolute waste of good food.
Our team reviewed your images and confirmed that the product was completely safe and usable, which is why a refund was correctly refused. We cannot absorb the cost when perfectly good, safe food is thrown away against our expert advice.

A newbie to the Pizza oven and dough…
A newbie to the Pizza oven and dough family. Watched the video and had lots of fun trying to replicate how “easy” it looked. Love having them accessible in the freezer. I was never going to be a “dough maker”
We have had some funny shaped ones and some small under stretched ones but we are getting better and having fun.
We show the video to guests so they can see how it’s done. Have had a good laugh and good food at our get togethers!

Poor delivery service and unhelpful customer support
I’m extremely disappointed with this company and would not recommend them.
I placed an order and paid extra to choose a specific delivery day, but the service did not work as promised. When I contacted customer service, I was met with a chatbot that just kept sending me round in circles and never actually resolved anything. I was also promised that a supervising agent would get in touch, but four days after my complaint there is still no sign of one.
As a result, my order was delivered when I was away and one of the perishable items spoiled. I have tried to raise this properly, but getting any real help has been impossible.
Very poor customer service and a frustrating experience from start to finish.

The dough is great
The dough is great, everything I read about it was pretty accurate. Easy to use and it makes great pizza!!
The communication between ordering and delivery was poor. It states very clearly about when you order and then when they deliver. I chose to receive updates on WhatsApp that never happened. I chased the order twice through email which was also a waste of time. In total it arrived 10 days after I ordered. After I required it. On a red hot Friday(28 degrees) when I was at work and not home until hours after it had been delivered.
Whatever happens in the administration department needs to change! It’s letting down your product.

Regarding WhatsApp, that channel is strictly used for outbound marketing purposes and is not monitored for customer support. There absolutely should have been an automated message stating that replies are not read, so we will look into why that didn't happen as it completely explains your frustration.
A 10-day delivery window is also miles outside of our standard operational timeline, and we are genuinely sorry that the box arrived well after you required it, especially on a scorching 28°C Friday while you were stuck at work. While our live dough is packed to withstand transit, we know it's incredibly stressful worrying about a box sitting out in the heat.
