Great Start Karate provides live online karate classes for kids ages 5–18 across the United States and Canada. Designed specifically to support homeschool PE, our small-group classes deliver real-time instruction, personalized coaching, and encouragement from experienced black belt instructors. Kids feel seen, supported, and motivated to grow — not lost in a crowd. Our interactive Zoom classes combine martial arts skills, fun challenges, and monthly Life Skill themes that help kids succeed in school and everyday life. Founded by Jan Stockton, a 3rd-degree black belt with over 36 years of experience developing children’s martial arts programs, Great Start Karate reflects decades of passion and innovation in helping kids grow in mind, body, and character.
