GreyBird Pilot Academy is a pilot training operation solely focused on training commercial pilots. Students are introduced to the international atmosphere of a commercial pilot’s daily work life at GreyBird’s trans-European training sites. GreyBird’s unique combination of a completely streamlined modern and environmentally friendly aircraft fleet as well as purpose-built state-of-the-art simulators ensures that our students experience the steepest possible learning curve. GreyBird’s students fly from bases in Denmark, Sweden, and Spain, and they can visit numerous countries in Europe during their education. We currently have bases in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Ljungbyhed, Madrid, and Córdoba.

School admits many more students than…

School admits many more students than they have the capacity for. Planes are broken down often, instructors are not available for everyone. Students are very very behind on flying and many fail their theory exams because the school doesn’t teach or help them review. They tell them to just memorize the previous years’ questions. The management is poor probably since the place got bought by a Private Equity firm. The company keeps flagging the review as defamation but I have no place here on trust pilot to add supporting evidence- of which I have several emails and screenshots, documentation from the school.

Rekommenderas varmt

Avslutade min flygutbildning hos GreyBird Pilot Academy för ett par år sedan. Instruktörerna var mycket professionella och gav mig en stark och stabil bas att bygga vidare på, något jag är väldigt tacksam för än idag i min karriär som pilot. Rekommenderas varmt till blivande piloter.

I had a great time at Greybird

I had a great time at Greybird. I did my CPL training there and landed an airline job shortly after.

Flying in Spain and around Europe was an amazing experience. Being at the different bases was also a great opportunity to make contacts and build a network, especially since I didn’t know anyone in the business when I started.

Of course, there were a few things that didn’t go exactly as planned at first — due to weather or other circumstances that can come up during a complex training program like this. But I always had a good dialogue with the school, and they handled everything smoothly. I was rebooked or rescheduled when needed, and the process toward my CPL checkride was straightforward.

The APS course with the experienced instructors from airlines like SAS and Ryanair was really, really good — excellent preparation for the industry.

I sometimes miss my time at the school. It was a lot of fun.

Positivt upplevelse hos Greybird Pilot Academy

Det har varit en väldigt positiv upplevelse. Positivt i och med att Greybird har varit kvick med att kontakta mig, som visar att Greybird har ett bra support/kontakt team som visar en stark etablering och struktur hos Greybird, men även en känsla av att Greybird genuint bryr sig.
