We chose Grow Up Tutoring to help with SATs once we realised how much was covered in year 6 and how tricky the questions had become. Sessions focused on real SATs style papers including reading, multi step maths questions and strategies for using time we'll and checking she answered what was actually asked. It was especially helpful to have someone to through past papers explain where marks were lost and how to improve next time. By the time the tests came around she felt.prepared rather than overwhelmed and the final results were better than we had expected

Nicole has been absolutely amazing with both of my daughters. She supported my eldest through her SATs revision and really helped her build confidence, especially when it came to understanding and interpreting the wording of questions.
My youngest adored her extra lessons as well—Nicole made every session fun and engaging. I often heard laughter as they came up with imaginative stories together, and my daughter was always excited to shout out the answers.

Nicole was Megan's teacher during year 3, which was also covid and lockdown. She made online lessons fun, and gave rewards for work well done. This was a great motivation for Megan. She came on so far that year and her school report said as much. A completely different child.
Year 6, Megan, I felt needed extra support than her school were providing. I contacted Nicole who provided both group and one to one tutoring. Megan initially did a group session but we agreed it would be beneficial to have one to one tutoring on specific areas. Megan passed her sats with flying colours, working at greater depth in SPAG and nearly there in comprehension and maths.
I would recommend Nicole to anyone who would like a friendly, professional service.
