Feeling cheated
The car is great. However, the after-sales service, WHERE IT REALLY COUNTS, was the worst I have experienced.
I am always wary of the odd poor review ‘one swallow doesn't make a summer’ and all that, but the specification of the car was grossly misrepresented in the advert, stating there was - Lane departure warning system, Driver fatigue package, a service package, and additional items fitted to an approximate value of £1500.
I bought the car based on that specification, and instead of an apology and offer to help, all I received was ‘Caveat Emptor’, 'talk to our solicitor’, and an offer of a derisory £200.

Hi Richard, thank you for your review. GS Car Centre would like to apologise for the way that you feel with regards to what you describe as "the worst I have experienced" with regards to our after-sales service.
We work extremely hard to ensure the content of our adverts and vehicle descriptions are as accurate as possible, however, from time to time human errors can occur on our vehicle advertisements which seems to have been the case on this occasion. Because human errors can occur on very rare occasions we always include the following statements on both our website and AutoTrader;
"*Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information above. However, errors may occur. Check with a salesperson about items which may affect your decision to purchase."
"The data displayed above details the usual specification of the most recent model of this vehicle. It is not the exact data for the actual vehicle being offered for sale and data for older models may vary slightly. We recommend you check the vehicle details with the seller before you buy."
You purchased your lovely new Skoda off us on 09/06/2021 and took advantage of our Nationwide delivery service. This service includes a 14 day no quibble money back guarantee and find it interesting that you did not utilise this service in order to raise any concerns you had about the vehicle's spec, especially considering that you "bought the vehicle based on that specification". Given this you would have noticed such items were not included within the spec of the car you had been with for two weeks?
In reference to you following statement "I bought the car based on that specification, and instead of an apology and offer to help, all I received was ‘Caveat Emptor’, 'talk to our solicitor’, and an offer of a derisory £200." you may recall the director of the company phoned, emailed and text you in order to apologise for the inconvenience you had been caused by the "advert misrepresentation" and to have a discussion in the hope of working towards a suitable resolution for the unfortunate situation. Your response was that you was away at the time and would make contact when back from your trip, something the director was looking forward to.
Much to the companies surprise the following Monday morning we received a formal letter from yourself with demands and that we would be hearing from your solicitor within 7 days. As customer dis-satisfaction is not something we are used to dealing with as a company coupled with a your letter of a 7 day deadline to respond before we heard from your solicitor we thought it was necessary to ask our legal partners for help and guidance. They instructed us to ask yourself to correspond with them directly going forward.
We again apologise for this unfortunate situation and have put in extra measures to ensure human errors are kept to an absolute minimum going forward. Thanks again for your review and GS Car Centre would once again like to apologise for any frustration this situation has caused you.

BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe
Recently purchased a BMW 4 Series Grand Coupe from GS Car Centre, the whole purchase was done virtually as a live quite a distance from the garage, however the car was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Great friendly customer Service from Adam. Car got delivered direct to my door on a trailer for a negotiated fee. Few weeks in and still no issues.

Vehicle exactly as described and fantastic service from Steve.
We visited G.S Car Centre to view a Freelander 2. The car was a very honest example and exactly as described. Steve had ensured it was valeted and prepared to a high standard before we arrived. We would highly recommend speaking to Steve of G.S Car Centre for your next vehicle as he was very welcoming and a pleasure to do business with. A true credit to the industry!

Great Customer Service
Really good experience from GS Car Centre. You get to know how good a service really is when there are some unexpected difficulties but these guys are so genuine, they were on it and resolved it as soon as possible!! I will happily recommend to anyone.

Just purchased a Vauxhall Astra in…
Just purchased a Vauxhall Astra in excellent condition from GS Car centre. Steve and everyone else working there were really nice guys. Car was ready for when we arrived to take a look at and take it for a test drive. Car drives really well and was so happy with it that I took it the same day. Really recommend GS car centre if anyone needs a car at good valuable and great condition!

Fantastic car and service.
Just purchased a beautiful Merc from GS, Steve and his brother were a pleasure to deal with, real down to earth guys, the car is immaculate, drives like a dream and is just plain stunning. Any issues were quickly sorted such as one minor cosmetic which I was informed about. I couldn't be any happier. Thanks guys.

Superb, highly recommend
Superb service from Steve at GS car centre. From the initial telephone contact he was nothing but helpful. I travelled down from Scotland to make the purchase and everything was very straight forward and well organised. I’d be happy to recommend to friends and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
