The web site is wonderful and easy to use for live auctions.

I had a coin collection from the 1960s which sat in a safe deposit box for many years. My family encouraged me to sell the coins so they would not be bothered in case something happened to me. At first I contacted Stacks but saw the site for Heritage. Sarah Miller convinced me that Heritage would be a better option to obtain better prices. I brought my collection to NY and Sarah spent many hours cataloging and giving a rough condition appraisal. The coins were then sent to the grading service. Some coins were returned with better grades than I thought and some with less but that is not something Heritage is responsible for. The auctions went well and I got great prices for many coins. The best was the 1909 SVDB which went for 17,000. Grading said it was the 2nd best ever seen. Since I paid 125 in 1966 I certainly was very pleased. Sarah was great thru the whole process and spent all the time needed and promptly answered all my questions. Highly recommend Heritage for any collectibles!

Heritage offers great cards at auction. Descriptions are accurate and photos are well presented.

Staff are knowledgeable and extremely courteous.

Deliveries are packaged very carefully and securely, but are sometimes slow.

Lastly, increase in buyer fees is unwelcome and discouraging.

Provides comprehensive service to sellers at a very competitive rate. Sarah Miller attends to detail, communicates regularly, and her approach has led to outstandinng results. I highly recommend her and Heritage Auctions.

After +-10 emails. Am still waiting Final invoice/ answer my question. Item bought 8 Dec 2025 ! Today Invoices have 3 invoice, all different value/ invoice .Should I pay/ or cancel. I think? Grew too big? Won't last. Extra costs not showing Initial invoice? It's a ripoff. I stopped buying heritage , 2023 due to extra costs.Am learning , never to bid again. Heritage auction 😜

Risky business - a gamble with your personal data
Please think before you register to bid with this auction house. They request the following highly sensitive data that as a whole, leaves you open to great personal risk: Name, birth year, photo of driver's license or passport, last 4 digits of your social security number, bank name, and more. They will say it is for their protection, but should there be a data breach you will be screwed. This is a serious overreach by Heritage Auctions and my husband (who is an attorney) and I refuse to provide our sensitive personal data in bulk to this company.

1/26/26: Thank you Heritage Auction for your thoughtful reply today. I am a registered member/buyer of many different auction houses and none of them have anywhere near this level of authentication to be able to bid, including very high end auctions. It's simply safer to shop elsewhere.

I had an excellent experience consigning items with Heritage Auctions. I am not an active sports card and memorabilia trader, but I had a set of vintage baseball cards that have passed down in my family that we’d decided to value and sell. I found Heritage Auction in my research and uploaded a few photos to its website for an estimate. I was happy and frankly shocked when I got a phone call the next morning from Lee, a Vice President. From that super informative call I made the decision to sell my collection through Lee and Heritage - best decision I could have made. Personal service all the way from my questions about the consignment agreement, to fees, insurance, shipping, card grading and social media marketing Heritage provided. Beautiful presentation of items to be auctioned both online and in a bound catalog, and a fantastically easy website to track items I’ve consigned and also items I have bid on. And the results at auction which closed a few days ago was outstanding — many bidders for each of the lots and a result I’m pleased with. I can’t recommend Heritage Auctions and Lee Iskowitz enough!

There was an issue with an item I bought at auction. Heritage assigned Robert Fornesi to assist with resolving the issue. Robert not only achieved a positive resolution but also kept me informed of progress at regular intervals, which I appreciated. He was focussed on ensuring that there was a satisfactory resolution of the issue rather than a quick fix. He was direct and showed good empathy, as well as being an expert in the relevant field (which was important in this instance). His communication, both written and oral, was always clear and pitched well.

I recently consigned a bunch of items with Heritage. They are coming up for auction in January! I am really excited to see my results. My consignment director Nathan has gone out of his way to help me during the process. Every question I threw at him, he answered with a friendly quick response. When you are ready to sell your collectibles, consign with Heritage!

I have had business with all the major international auction houses, and I have had the best experience with Heritage. Their fees are more competitive, they provide superior customer service with deep expertise and their administrative services are best in class.

I’m very disappointed with the customer support at Heritage Auctions. I’ve been trying to get assistance regarding a bid that appeared on my account without any intentional action, and support has not responded at all.
While watching an auction on a mobile device, a bid was suddenly registered on a lot even though no confirmation window appeared and no deliberate bid was placed. Other bids on the platform normally show a clear confirmation step, so this inconsistency is concerning and suggests either an accidental interface trigger or a technical issue.
I contacted Heritage Auctions immediately to request that the unintended bid be voided, provided all details, and explained the situation clearly. Several days later, I still haven’t received any response.
For a company handling high-value items, the lack of acknowledgment or support is unacceptable. I hope this review finally prompts someone to address the issue.

I can understand why this action company has such low star rating , as I have been going to all different types of auction for over 20 years and never had an experience where I won an item in an auction got the message I won it and is on my online account now that I won it but the did not put it on my invoice so I contacted them and the claim someone else won it in a bulk lot again I don't understand how someone else won it but everything I am see I saying I won it. Then they just did not put it on the invoice I guess hoping I would not notice no explanation of communication to let me know there was an error in bid or anything like that. So just beware just because you bid and win with the auction company apparently dose not mean anything.

Wide selection of items on auction, including coins. Knowledgeable summaries of coins, ability to see historical prices paid for same coin in similar condition. Excellent, high-resolution photographs of coins. Bidding platform is efficient and easy to navigate. Costs are explained upfront.

From the first meeting we had with Sarah and SarahJane to Tuesday’s successful bid on the Winnie the Pooh drawings we have been thankful for the amazing attention given by them to all our needs. By immediately responding to emails and phone calls they helped us through those early days when we were nervous about the lack of an initial bid… through to when bidding began slowly, and before it entered those exciting final bids. At that very first meeting my wife and I were impressed by their warmth and honesty. It was evident that they both enjoyed what they're doing, and at no time did we feel pressured. I've used Heritage for several years for cards and coins. Their recent increases in buyer premiums are a lot higher than most auction houses, but you know what you're bidding on is authentic.

Terrible. No communication, no help. Attempted to contact serval times regarding an appraisal for an item I submitted and no response. Just a bunch of daily emails trying to sell me stuff. Total waste of time.

I work with Sarah Miller. She was very knowledgeable. She walked me through the entire process, and it played out just as she said it would. And the results I got were better than I had expected. Very happy.
