Not the genuine article

Including gifts, I’ve now purchased 5 Haden Kettles since 2019. So you might say I used to be a fan. When my trusty Dorset sprung a leak, I went on hadenusa.com thinking that this was the manufacturer website. All of the prior ones I had purchased from Williams Sonoma or another retailer. Anyway, I ordered the black with copper accents version of the same Dorset kettle but when it arrived it looked like a Chinese knockoff. Bright orange, not copper at all. I then tried to contact someone at the company and that’s when I discovered that there’s no phone number. Only a generic customer service email. So I emailed them and got no reply. I emailed again and got no reply. I filed a complaint with Shopify since that’s the platform that they use, and I got a generic message stating that THEY were trying to reach me. Funny, I get all my emails without any issue, and I had provided my phone number when I ordered the kettle. So I replied again requesting an RMA to be able to ship this orange and black kettle back to them. Crickets since then. I even emailed the Haden Co. In the UK hoping they’d be able to help. But no reply from them either. So my best guess is that these are not genuine article Haden kettles and you’re better off ordering them from legitimate retailers.

Update, I called the customer service number suggested below. The phone instructed me to choose 7 for order status, damaged goods, and returns. A moment of silence and then the message, “this mailbox is full.”

It’s apparently a company named studio design in California. Not sure how they get all these positive reviews. Oh well. On the plus side I’ve purchased a lovely kettle from Breville that’s a definite upgrade.

not a quality product for the price

Recently moved and needed a new coffee maker-went to Consumer reports to read reviews and this was well reviewed so i bought it-it looks nice and makes a good pot of coffee-but the pot itself sucks...can't easily remove the lid for thorough washing-finally after only 3 months the lid broke-i went online at haden to find a replacement for it-nada-sold out-emailed them and got no response-you will note several pots for other models also sold out-sad and mad in KY

Another reply...I could only use online form. Didn't have email address on webpage that I saw.
And I've not heard from anyone at USA..are they still in business? So angry at lack of support. Never will buy another Haden product

Great Service

Unfortunately our kettle developed an intermittent fault after 16 months of ownership. As it was still under warranty I contacted customer support at Haden. After providing information and sending the kettle back we received a new kettle within a couple of days. During the replacement process all communication was prompt and I was kept informed at every step.

Faulty kettle

Following my recent enquiry about a faulty item, the Haden customer care department were quick to respond and to resolve the problem.
Today, I am delighted to say that I have received a replacement.
I have been very impressed by the friendly advice and prompt actions.
Excellent!

Kettle under warranty.

I contacted Haden when my kettle stopped working within the warranty period.
They provided clear instructions for claiming under the warranty and returning the kettle.
Emails were polite and friendly and responses were quick and informative.
Kettle was replaced.
Very happy with the process and outcome.
Only concern was significant dent in box on deliver but kettle appears to be working OK (although I don't recall the cut out on boiling being so slow before!)

I don't normally give reviews, however Haden customer service team went above & beyond in resolving my issue, Speaking to Jo & Dianne they showed true professionalism and empathy and are a credit to the team,

Replacement Airfryer

My airfryer had a fault after a year, I got in touch and in a weeks time I had received a free return label and new airfryer. Couldn't ask for better service. Many thanks😊

The item was recommended by Which. It arrived on the right day and driver even helped to put inside door. It does exactly what I wanted it to do, fits neatly in my small kitchen, and looks unobtrusive. Full marks.

We made a mistake and brought a Haden…

We made a mistake and brought a Haden Microwave.
It beeps very loudly, every time you press a button. Then three times when it finishes and again when you open the door. 75dba. They told me this could not be switched off or adjusted for volume. Not recommended for people who like a quiet life. I have given it 8 months to see if I can live with it... It is untenable.

Rapid replacement

Having bought my air fryer from Amazon I had no receipt but when it stopped working, Haden was happy to accept an internet screenshot of my purchase date. Then, getting a replacement was not too tricky. Happy days. Michael

Great warranty

This company really stands by its warranty , toaster failed after 4 months before end of two year warranty, one e mail with a couple of photos sent, they sent me a label to post for free and I had a replacement on its way to me as soon as mine was posted to them
