Very poor service

Very poor service, they don't answear the phone when they know that they are at fault. They avoid liability, try to stay away from this company and maybe it would be better if everyone will report it to Trading Standards and to the relevant authorities.

Beware of this company

I had a non-fault car accident, I thought I had phoned my insurance company but hadn't, when on the call to Hammonds fleet care , they never made me any wiser that they weren't my insurance company. Anyway they came straight up with a courtesy car and took mine away to be fixed or at least that's what I was lead to believe . It wasn't till 2 weeks later when I had to call my insurance company that I was made aware that I had phoned the wrong insurance company, this was very frightening for me but I managed to get both company's to call each other and it was agreed that it was best to leave the car where it was to be fixed . Anyway 2 months later I wasn't getting any details of hammonds regarding the process of the car being fixed there was no correspondence at all . I had called several times but kept being told they where fixing the car as the parts where coming in. Finally after 10 weeks I called them up and said I would like for my car to be fixed by my own insurance company as I just didn't trust this company anymore . They said ok you just have to pay the fee of £6000 for the courtesy vehicle and we will release your car . My insurance payed the money but the car wasn't released till 6 days later . Now ive got the car back being fixed , ive been made aware that they hadn't fixed any of the car and the car seems to be in a worse condition than what it was when they took it down , also it had an extre 700 miles on the clock , now i know garages have to drive the car to asses it but not 700 miles worth. Ive also recieved a PCN for a car that Hammonds fleet have registered my driving liscence details too but I wasn't driving that car . I've had to call the DVLA to sort this out and appeal the PCN . If being in accident wasn't enough I'm now having to make sure my details haven't been given to fraudsters and that my driving liscence details aren't being used by someone else . My advice is to steer clear of this company . For your own health's sake .

This company is NOT GoSkippy

This company is NOT GoSkippy. They said they had filed my accident but when I called actual GoSkippy, no report had even been made and they had no idea I’d even been in an accident.
They answer the phone as “claims department” and when asked their company name, they put me on hold first then came back saying they didn’t have a company name!!! But the claims department is this company Hammonds Fleet which give you the courtesy car along with large excess fees, etc. haven’t got my car back yet, hoping it’s not kept in storage like the people above. Scammers!!

I’m leaving this review due to terrible service from the company

I’m leaving this review due to terrible customer service provided by this company and the sneaky games which Hammonds Fleet Care play on people involved in accidents and are vulnerable.

I was waiting just over 8 weeks to be told if my car is a write off or can be fixed. I was told by somebody called akram who I may add sounds a lot like the initial person I had spoke to when reporting my claim who goes by Adamwho had claimed to be GoSkipoy ( realised after phoning my insurance that this was a scam that is done by hammonds quite frequently where they pay google Google to advertise there website Accident claims Department ontop of Google) that my car was in storage currently incurring storage charges of £35+vat and there was a recovery charge of £895 if I was to wish to collect my car due to this company seeming to drag the days on so they are able to billl the insurers more days in storage. They had threatened me multiple times with taking the courtesy vehicle of due to me wishing for them to release my vehicle. This whole ordeal has seriously messed with my mental health and caused me serious distress.

I do feel that this company is a massive SCAM and FRUAD as both members who I had spoken to from the Accident Claims Department sound awfully similar to the staff I had spoken to in Hammonds so I would not recommend using this scam of a company they will take your car promise you all sorts and throw it back in your face.

I do however bekieve upon further investigating vehicle accidents utilising a repair centre of your choice but there are far better options then this company around who actually care for you as a customer bringing THEM business.

This company seem awfully greedy and with the bleed everyone dry if there money

This company isn’t a insurance company

We called thinking they were our insurance company
Go skippy
They pay to add themselves to Google top of search bar
Go skippy said they do this to make money from insurances and had no details of the car going to them and to get it back to them
Wished I had
Our neighbour drove into my car whilst parked , no fault claim

They advised they would sort everything out .
My daughter rang go skippy to chase up horrified to find out they were not go skippy her insurance company and an accident fleet care . Took 6 weeks write off car and held back just under 3 k as we had recently bought car . They are charging us £35 a day as DVLA wont issue a new v5 as vehicle not In our ownership . Going to ombudsman please contact and check your ringing correct company first . They issued us someone else details too and insurance loss Their car was written off wasn’t even our name or vehicle details . My mental health has suffered as a consequence of the daily charge and asked dvla to help and this company issuing final response . We were the victim of a no fault claim and now they are charging storage charge of £35 per day . DVLA say 4 weeks to get one .
