Great customer service and aftersales
Great customer service, from a knowledgeable team. Not just a box shifter, they have a repair and service department onsite, which is one of the reasons I started to trade with this company. I am confident to put my power needs in their safe hands.
Ridiculous service.
I have ordered a cable for solar panels from this company. Their partner for delivering their products is FedEx. I knew only for the first delivery and was at home; however, due to FedEx issues, they sent a message that they could not deliver that day but would attempt some other day. FedEx never bothered to send any other warning of plan delivery; instead, I kept receiving emails of failed deliveries. I have contacted the company Hampshire Generators from the start and told them that I got a message of failed delivery although I was at home and they adviced to include a message for FedEx of where to leave my package in case of not being at home, which I did, but the same pattern of emails regarding failed deliveries followed. I have sent an email to the company that this is not working and I want to cancel the purchase. I have received now an email from the company that they will charge for the failed deliveries of FedEx. Choose your partners wisely and be responsible.

Hampshire Generators refused to give our electrical installation engineer commissioning documentation. I had to talk to the manufacturer in Portugal to progress the install. The unit has run for 30 minutes max but now there is a fault as it will not start. Hampshire sent a new relay as a fix but no engineer and now will not reply to my emails so I have complained back again to Gruppel in Portugal

Please let this be a warning to anyone who considers doing business with this company.
I've just taken the company to court because of two faulty Greengear generators that they supplied which they wouldn't refund.
I lost the court case because I'd modified one of the generators to use a larger (same voltage) battery that i had on trickle charge. Hampshire Generators stated that this could burn out the starter motor which is untrue.
Hampshire Generators also stated that I'd swapped parts between the two Generators which was not true and thet were unable to prove.
Without an expert witness I was unable to show that these statements from Hampshire Generators were not truthful.
I just wanted my money back. I now have two broken substandard Greengear generators that do not work.
Please I beg you. Do not use this company.

BE VERY WARY ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY
We placed an order with Hampshire Generators totalling over £14k for one specific customer of ours. However, due to numerous delays the delivery in the end had to be refused by our customer.
The order was placed on 11th July and delivery was eventually attempted on 5th August. Despite all the delays and failed delivery dates given, Hampshire generators have held back restocking fees of £2.5k. They felt this acceptable, despite all the delays on their part, and we haven’t even signed up to any terms and conditions with them.
Funny thing is during this whole process, the item we ordered was still showing in stock on their website!
We are now having to go through our solicitors and the courts to get our money back.

1. This was not a special item order, the item we ordered was showing in stock on your website throughout this whole process.
2. We have never entered a contract or signed anything with regards to this order.
3. The delivery of our order was delayed 4 or 5 times, we have evidence of all these delays and failed delivery dates which resulted in us requesting the cancellation.

Fantastic service
Excellent speedy service from this company. After my first purchase I was so impressed that I wanted to give them future custom but the item I wanted was out of stock. I phoned them and my call was answered quickly, courteously and they told me what I needed to know.
Would 100% use again. If only all companies were like this.
Extremely terrible company
Extremely terrible company, website processed an order I didn’t want as I was just checking on the monthly cost the company won’t take responsibility for this error so they sent out my item and I didn’t accept the delivery of it so sent it straight back! They are now saying they have not received it and are trying to charge me for it biggest scam ever as I have tracking ID for the item and they have received it and signed for it so they are now trying to steal my money. Avoid at all cost terrible company.

Extremely Disappointed with the Service
I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received regarding my order of the EcoFlow DELTA Max Portable Power Station. I placed my order (#88968) on July 15, 2024, when the item was listed as in stock. However, it has now been over two weeks, and my order still has not been shipped.
I reached out to customer service multiple times, and while the responses were polite, they were not helpful. I was informed that a delivery was expected, but not enough units arrived to fulfill all orders. Despite being promised that my order would be shipped with the next delivery, there has been no further update or shipping confirmation.
The lack of transparency and the failure to meet promised delivery timelines are unacceptable. I am highly dissatisfied with this experience and would not recommend ordering from this company based on my experience.

I purchased a Eco Flow solar panel from Hampshire Generators on 27th June. I received it on 28th June. When opening the box I noticed one of the main leads to connect to the panel to the Generators was missing. I phoned them up. Initially I felt like I was just being messed around. I then spoke to a guy. He said to me he would send the lead in the post. I asked if he could send it so I could receive it on Satruday 29th, however, he said he was not sure this was possible at their end and that he would need to check. Shortly After the call I receive a tracking number and date for Monday 1st for the cable to get to me. I was really annoyed as this would mean I had to wait 3 days to be able to use the item. I then rang again. I spoke with Andy again. I explained to him that it was coming on the 1st July. I know that they can send next day. I believe this was a cost saving issue with no regard for myself the customer. I said to Andy that if I don't receive it by Monday I will return the item for a refund. He then became rude and he said I could return it but that I would have to pay the cost of postage. I told Andy this was very odd as I have an item I'm unable to use. I also mentioned that if I had brought this to go on holiday with I would be pretty screwed. He did not seem bothered. The call then ended. I then had another call from Lucy. I explained the issue to her and she then said she will speak to her manager and put me on hold. The call got disconnected my end and Lucy phoned back. She told me for a definite that the cable will now be sent next day delivery for the Saturday and that this will be changed on their system to reflect this. I asked her is that a definite and she said yes. Shortly after this call I get an email with a cancel notification for the old postage and a new postage with new tracking info for guess what date. Yeah you guessed correct. MONDAY 1ST OF July and not Saturday 29th as promised. I then realised I was just being lied to by staff. I phoned back and spoke to Lucy again and explained the situation and that a new label had been generated with Monday 1st of July on. She reassured me not to worry and said that maybe Fed Ex system has not been updated. She said I would definitely receive the item for Saturday 29th June and not Monday. I disconnect.
Saturday comes and I wait in until 12pm. Guess what. No Fed Ex post. I check tracking and it STILL states delivery on Monday 1st of July. I believe they just told me a bold faced lie just to keep me happy. Well this is a disgusting company that does not give a crap about its customers as long as they are getting money comeing in. They could have quite easily sent this to me for Saturday rather than lying to me. If I do not receive the item by Monday 1st July I will be contacting trading standards and the Adverting Standards Authority as the item clearly advertised is not the item I received. I wanted to support local businesses rather than Amazon but the thing is some local businesses just do not value their customer hence the reason lots are closing down. This is a classic example of that. Customer service and honesty are very basic things I expect from a company I give my hard earned cash to. I would NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!. Use Amazon as they really value their customers. That's why they are going strong. AVOID. You will be told a pack of lies. And get stresses because of incompetent people. It's not worth it.

During a power cut I phoned the company and spoke to Andy Mears and that day they enabled me to purchase something suitable, which was a fantastic deal, and I was able to come home with a generator even though they were moving premises that day. The starter battery failed on our Excel…
The starter battery failed on our Excel Power XL11000V 8KW in under a year with little to no residential use as a back up. It was sitting on a maintenance charger for most of the time but none the less still failed. Impossible to charge with intelligent or “dumb” charger.
The CS advisor noted the battery was excluded (along with pretty much everything else in their “catch all” warranty) which probably wouldn’t pass statute law under 6 months but in my case the failure occurred after this point in time. Totally intransigent and unhelpful. The failure happened in under a year and they should have been willing to replace.

These guys are the real deal.
Great company ....called for some advice pre-purchase and the staff member was excellent. Ordered my Jackery Explorer 1000 which arrived in perfect condition, earlier than expected. Always good to under promise and over deliver. Thanks guys, great job. Keep it up. Loads of companies sell the same product, but what separates the wheat from the chaff is customer service. This company understands that. First class!

First email I sent ignored , spoke on telephone to disinterested staff who explained it “might” come next week.. second email I sent, wow they replied ! similar vague reply . No sign of product or even that it has been dispatched after seven days so requested a refund and bought elsewhere for seventy quid cheaper and tracked delivery. Strange company - obviously didn’t want my £700+ 🤷♂️
