I booked this company because they advertise themselves as local to West Hampstead, but the experience was disappointing. They sent two workers who barely spoke English, making communication difficult—we mostly relied on gestures and pointing.

Despite specifying that they were coming to a small garden and asking them to be extra careful with the plants, this information was not passed on to the workers. They were not qualified gardeners and had no idea which plants were which, so asking for gardening advice was out of the question.

Another red flag: payment was made to a personal account rather than a business one, which seems shady. The workers were friendly, but they left in under two hours while charging for a full session.

Lastly, their website only features glowing reviews, but customers are not actually allowed to leave reviews. I emailed them the day after the service asking for a link to submit feedback and never received a response.

This company is not legitimate, and I would strongly advise against hiring them.

Very poor service. Workmen did not speak English so communication was a big problem. They did a very bad job of putting up two fence panels and a post. They did not finish the job but said they would return two days later but did not. I phoned the office and they said they would come in another two days but did not come. I had to pay another workman to finish the job. I asked for a partial refund from their overpriced invoice but they refused.
Do not use this company.

I booked two hours and they only did 90 minutes - leaving the job unfinished.

They arrived two hours earlier than I had booked. They started the clock for the two hours upon arrival, before I was home to discuss the job, then packed up to leave half an hour early, having not mown half my lawn. I asked them to do the final half an hour of work and they said they could not because their equipment was already back in the van.

After multiple phone calls with their management, I was given a £20 discount, which isn't much use as I'll now need to book a whole new service. It's a shame because I was really excited to get my garden sorted out, and was hoping to become a regular customer. There are plenty of other people offering the service with better reviews so I would suggest booking one of them.

After what seemed like a professional booking for the next day, I was happy to see the gardeners turn up on time. It all went down hill from there. They made excuse after excuse when I showed them the job and then eventually said they don't have the right equipment and just left! Don't book them!

The team did a great job in making my lawn pleasing. I will arrange a party at my place and I am really happy how the garden looks right now! I asked for a quote in fixing my fence and looking forward for the team to work back for me. Thank you!

Todd and his colleague came to tidy up a very overgrown garden and front garden. The work involved clearing out small trees, weeds, bramble, hedge cutting removal of a trampoline and tree stump removal. A concrete base and grass lawn was laid with stepping stones and a planter created from scratch as well as fence painting.
They were punctual, protected the hallway carpets, worked solidly for the duration, were courteous and polite, always making sure the specifications were kept to and double checking to make sure things were correct, any problems that arose ( admittedly on my part for not explaining correctly) were resolved and rectified. The garden waste was disposed of and everything left clean and tidy.
Costings were competitive and discussed with the very helpful and diligent administrator Mia.
Any extra work was discussed accounted for and undertaken very graciously by Todd, a very good and considerate gardener.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Didn't finish the job, were aggressive and pushy, not gardeners in any sense, just men 'having a go', tried to recharge a parking ticket they got despite me offering them a permit (they ignored it). Wouldn't leave until we paid in full. The absolute worst. Have informed Trading Standards.

Never book these people. Waste of money book for 2 people 2 hour job. Initially looks good but 1 person will ineffective. Waste of your money look elsewhere

Handy gardeners Harold hill are not gardeners at all absolutely just strimmered everything including plants and shrubs even my lillies that were in a container awful avoid unless you want your whole garden strimmered

Really bad experience - twice over. They quoted for a two-hour job and I booked.

First they called to say they were an hour late, then two hours, then cancelled altogether. Foolishly I have gave them the benefit of the doubt and rebooked.

When they came, they did half an hour's work and said they were done. I assumed they'd only charge for half an hour. But then got a bill for the two hours, which they then said was their minimum charge. That's hidden in the Ts & Cs, and the gardener never said 'We're going to charge you for two hours anyway' or find other things to do. Really disappointing all round.

We have used this team twice for our rental property in west London. They have been so accommodating dealing with us in a completely opposite time zone. They are honest, reliable and respectful
Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

We hired them to remove a tree, were quoted £820 for the job however during the tree removal, they damaged the patio and left a complete mess of soil and concrete when they finished the job.

We have since got a quote from a contractor for £1800 to repair the damage they caused. We raised a complaint but they are not willing to fix the damages they caused. Avoid at all costs.

Quick, polite, good job, clear pricing policy. Thanks to Todd and the guys.

Todd and the team were absolutely brilliant. This is the second time we've used them and they were just as good as the first time. They arrived promptly, worked super hard and the garden looks fantastic. Would recommend to anyone!

DO NOT ASK THEM TO REMOVE YOUR WASTE.

Perfectly good gardeners, but they wanted to charge a HUGE amount to take away a few bags of leaves and don't tell you until afterwards.

Just wanted to say thank you to the team for the amazing job they did on my front and back gardens. They were professional, hard working and efficient. My garden hasn’t looked this good in ages!

Great Garden Clean Up
Todd and his partner did an amazing job tidying up the garden of new placed we moved into that had not been touched in 2 years. They trimmed all the trees and removed dead ones; cut the grass; removed weeds from concrete area; disposed of many potted plants with no use. They have made it a space we enjoy looking at as well as made it more functional to use. I will definitely use them again for any future needs.
