I recently purchased my new home from Harper Crewe, and I’m delighted! Lisa and Steph in the sales office could not have been any more helpful throughout - they’ve been responsive, efficient, friendly and caring. They were knowledgeable about the properties and were unrushed when showing me around, matching me to the right home. They helped me manage the purchase process/solicitors and were instrumental in helping it all happen in under 4 weeks. Since moving in, Harper Crewe have swiftly managed a few snagging issues in a courteous and professional manner, with quick responses to emails or phone calls as necessary. Thank you to all!

We started our house buying journey early Feb 2025 and we are on our way to being first time home owners!!
First, the show rooms were incredible! We were looking at houses in Wixams before we came to the Higham Ferrers site, and once we stepped foot into the Joseph living room we were blown away. It’s worth mentioning that the houses in Wixams were 200ft smaller and 100k more expensive, and they didn’t have the homey feel we felt in HarperCrewe’s showhomes. Plus, the houses smell good.
Second, the customer service was Flawless! They were; good at responding to emails, accommodating to our barrage of questions, they went the extra mile to help us get what we wanted in terms of Kitchen choices, and honest! If any bumps appeared they were quick to fix them causing us no hassle whatsoever.

Now you’ve heard the praise, please read my criticisms.
My only negatives are that the files that house documents needed for reservations agreements are a little messy. I don’t mean the plan drawings were messy, they were expertly done. I mean the digital filing system is unorganised and we noticed our sales negotiator get stressed while trying to find the correct ones. I would recommend that whoever files the documents organises them by house type.

For other buyers, it’s worth noting that the without purchasing extras, the houses come with a concrete base ground floor, boarded first floor and kitchen. Flooring is paid extras and so is turf.

Awful homes and a terrible sales team that just ignored us.

Amazing experience. Jess went above an beyond and is a real credit to Harper Crewe. Lead us every step of the way. Can't recommend them enough.

We visited Harper Crewe in Hodthorpe recently while looking for a new home in the area. The homes available are beautiful and each had a lay out to suit everyone. We found the quality and space much more appealing than other new homes we have looked at. Annabelle made us feel welcome from the minute we walk in and discussed all options available on each property with us thoroughly. Amazing value and we loved the rural location, yet within easy reach to main towns and cities.

Despite not completing the purchase due to our circumstances changing I would 100% recommend Harper Crewe to anyone thinking about it, Jess and Georgia spent time to build a fantastic rapport with myself and my wife, nothing seemed to big a deal and questions were answered rapidly and with great detail. It was a real pleasure and I will be gutted to not complete with them.

I have recently purchased a house through Harper Crewe in Hodthorpe. From the moment we walked into the site we were greeted by very friendly knowledge staff. A special mention to Annabel & Sarah, they were always on hand to talk us through all the steps when buying a Harper Crewe home.
The home itself is beautiful, the finish is impeccable. I can really see myself being there for many years. I would also like to mention Richard the Sales Director, we had difficulties during the conveyancing process and Richard was always on hand, anytime of the day and night to get us moved in on time. Finally Scott the Site Manager has been fantastic, any snagging (which has been very minor) has been dealt with straight away from Scott. We feel like we have been included into the Harper Crewe Family. I myself own an Estate Agency in the local area, I can honestly say theses houses are amazing and would have no problem recommending these homes to anyone.

Jess was amazing.
She helped me go through all of the houses within my specification, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the correct house for me.
She was extremely patient whilst I waited for personal things to be sorted, Harper Crew make lovely houses and I would highly recommend them.

We bought a house from Harper Crewe and the journey from start to where we are now has been nothing short of brilliant. HarperCrewe have been so helpful, accommodating and thoughtful in everything to do with the moving in process, building the house and customer experience. We started looking at one of their new build houses originally in September 2024 and moved into our first home in December 2024. We love our first home and are so glad we had HarperCrewe with us on this journey.

Harper Crewe are clearly high quality builders being cutting edge in terms of incorporating new green technology into their new builds. Staff are knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly. Communication from Harper Crewe is excellent and they resolved any queries and questions I had promptly and effectively. The development at Higham Ferrers is a well run operation and the development is desirable and high quality. There are a great range of properties for different circumstances of people, with a range of budgets to suit. I have previously bought 2 new build houses from new developments and rate Harper Crewe very highly in comparison. I would highly reccomend them as builders and a company in general.
