Before going to Paul, we had visited high street retailers but always left feeling disappointed and as such, I was quite anxious for the appointment. There was no need for this, however, because the service provided was next to none. The level of professionalism and knowledge shared with us throughout the journey was amazing and Paul was always happy to listen to all of my specific needs and wishes. The communication provided was always clear and Paul was happy for us to have several visits before deciding on the 'one'. When receiving the ring, I was amazed at not only how beautiful it was but also the quality and all of the documentation that comes alongside it. I really can't recommend Paul enough!

Yes jewellery is a luxury item, but the buying process contributes immensely to the luxury experience. From the moment we got in touch with Paul, it was clear that he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his trade and getting the right diamond and ring for my fiancée. Paul carefully listened to our ‘wish list’ and understood what was important to us - his delivery of those needs was met and more.

The experience was very much a collaboration and Paul always took care to ensure that we were happy with how the choice of diamond and the ring design was progressing. I was looking to purchase an engagement ring and after my first meet with Paul I knew he was 100% the right person to buy from.

From having little knowledge, Paul went through everything I needed to know and gave me all the information I needed to buy the perfect ring.

He was never pushy for a sale and when designing the ring helped to choose the perfect diamond which even came in under budget!

I needed a quicker turnaround and Paul managed to have it ready in time and the quality of ring was even better than expected.

Fantastic shop for jewellery! Their customer service is brilliant. I was messaging them on Whatsapp and they were always quick to reply, super friendly and so helpful. They helped me choose my engagement ring and diamond. When I ordered the ring, the diamond I ordered was not in stock. So, they gave me a more expensive diamond but honoured the original price. They also put in a special order for me to get it made quicker! Delivery was fast and the ring was very nicely packaged. Nothing bad to say about this company, they are amazing and I am so glad I chose them for my engagement ring! Cannot thank them enough:)

Couldn't have wished for a better experience. Paul was excellent at making me feel at ease (clearly buying an engagement ring wasn't something that I do every day). We will get our wedding bands from Paul and Harper Tait.

My husband first visited Paul at Harper Tait Fine Jewellery back in 2011 when he chose my engagement ring. A one square 1.09 carat diamond (F clarity) mounted in a four claw platinum band.

Paul was recommended to us by a friend and I know my husband was over the moon with the time Paul took to explain all the different diamond shapes, cuts and qualities. He was genuine, honest and very knowledgeable.

Paul was then a natural choice for our wedding rings and the same quality of time and effort was give to us as we chose these together. A platinum diamond set wedding band and palladium gents wedding band.

Finally for our ten year anniversary saw us return again to Harper Tait for a diamond and emerald stone set eternity ring. I absolutely love it. This was made even more special as Paul provided a super-speedy turnaround for my husband to surprise me on holiday.

Paul always provides service with a smile and is genuinely happy for your special occasions making the whole process so much more magical.

I came to them as a combination of recommendations and research and was extremely impressed. Picking the right ring can be nerve-wracking and Paul was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, transparent, and consultative throughout the entire process – at no point did I feel being pressured or upsold. Paul is incredibly personable, and you can clearly see the passion and excitement for his craft come through the conversation.

Not only did he help me pick something that the missus loved to the absolute core and in her words – this is totally me – but also managed to turn it around at an exceptionally expedited timescale and during one of the busiest time of the year! I absolutely couldn’t have managed the proposal without Paul and Harper Tait’s expertise and diligence and can’t thank them enough for making me look like a rockstar (pun intended) in the missus’ eyes
