I had Mike come to the house to fix a few snags which were outstanding. He was very professional and pleasant . All issues he came to do were done well . Really happy with the service.

Special thanks to Dawn at Forge Green Killamarsh for having a chat with us and helping us decide between the two show homes (despite the fact that we are planning to buy on a different site)

After purchasing a home from Harron Homes we didn’t have the most positive start however, Jon quickly restored our faith and has offered nothing but support over the last 12 months. He has been supportive, quick and effective with resolving issues and has ensured great communication throughout. We are really grateful for everything Jon has supported with and continues to do so. We can’t thank him enough! Although not entirely sure I’d recommend a Harron Home I would absolutely recommend the customer service given by Jon hence the review.

Overall we have had a positive experience with Harron Homes. The location is absolutely beautiful. Charlotte was brilliant with her customer service, providing weekly updates, answering our (many) questions, and even taking the time to call us to ensure we understood everything. We did a part exchange and I have no complaints about the process, it was all very smooth and quick. Our only main issue lies with the poor quality of the road laid outside the house (unfortunately a private road), which is not the same quality as elsewhere on the estate. Hopefully this will be resolved promptly but we are still awaiting updates on this. We do love the house and they’ve dealt with our snags relatively quickly, so I would recommend overall!

Forge Green - Sheffield

Today my husband and I visited the Forge Green site and Dawn, the sales exec looked after us.

Dawn was brilliant, very informative and genuinely cared about what we are looking for and our personal preferences. She absolutely went above and beyond for us today.

We have now selected what be believe to be right house type and Dawn is now sorting a date with the building team for us to see the actual plot itself.

Dawn isn’t pushy at all and you can tell she really does care about her role at Harron Homes.

We were originally interested in a Harron Home on the new Somercotes site, but when Ann reached out to discuss it, she mentioned that someone had just dropped out of a plot at Brierley Heath. We went to see her that same evening and she even stayed late so we could visit after work.

From the very beginning, Ann has been incredibly helpful. She managed to get us a really good deal for the new house and has made the whole process feel so much smoother. She really goes above and beyond for her customers and even sends us weekly updates on the progress of the house while it’s being built.

With two houses to sell, the process could have been extremely stressful, but Ann has made things so much easier by being flexible with meeting times and always being there to help. She’s even responded to messages on her days off when we needed things for our mortgage, like a PEA report.

We honestly can’t thank Ann enough for her support, customer service, and reassurance throughout such a stressful time. She’s made the whole experience feel exciting rather than overwhelming. 🥰

After having second thoughts on what we thought would be our forever home, we phoned Harron Homes about the Oaks in Somercotes. I came in contact with Ann about the site and we spoke at length about our needs and what the site could offer us. Ann told us about the house type that would suit us and the plot. We then arranged to go and look at a complete house type of that style with Ann and nothing was to much with the questions we asked. Fast forwarding to the launch day we had been invited down to view the plot the day before and we loved it and couldn't be happier. nothing is to much of an issue and any questions you have are always answered. Ann is so lovely and anyone would be lucky to buy a house at the Oaks with her. Thankyou :)

We moved in our Harron home at Christmas it was a bit of a rocky start but everything went well in the end. Natalie at castle gardens has been fabulous. She supported us throughout the purchase process of the property and always kept us up to date with what was going on. Evan now we have moved in Natalie is always on hand to answer any questions and support us with problems we have. We have had a few snags in the property which have slowly gotten sorted. This would be one of the negatives I have to say, there is no speed when trying to get through to after sales team and updates are very rare as to when things are getting sorted.
Overall we have had a good experience with moving into our home at castle gardens.

We walked in Shipley Park frequently and had spotted the Harron Homes development. We went in to talk to Charlotte and get some advice when we sold our own home very quickly. She was so helpful and engaging, telling us everything about the homes and the development. We knew we wanted to buy but unfortunately no new homes were available in our timescale. For that reason we looked for a home being resold and have recently bought and moved into a Tonbridge. We absolutely love the house and the surroundings. We couldn’t be happier!

The chaos and misery continues on the site at Killinghall , Drains being dug up never worked properly and puluting a stream over a field away with sewage..public footpath flooded as they basically laid crush and run with no drainage the do called nature walk has grass unusable and nearly all the trees dead. Harron are a disgrace should not be allowed to build .

We have lived in our home in Howden, for just over two years. I would like to take this opportunity to say a great big thankyou, to all of you, for being part of building our home, and also for being part of building all of the other homes. We really are very lucky, to have our homes!
The site manger Russel, always takes time to listen to any queries I have had, and is a genuinely nice human being, very approachable!
Also, a big thanks to all of the lads, both past and present on the site, who absolutely 'work their socks off', every day, creating a place, for many people to live in. The graft that goes into building the houses, is unbelievable!
It's a job and a half, for both Russell and the lads, and they are massively appreciated.

I’ve been into Forge Green by Harron Homes in Killamarsh a few times over the past few weeks, and each visit has been a really positive experience. Dawn has been so kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful every time I’ve been in. Nothing has felt like too much trouble, and she’s always taken the time to answer my questions and make me feel welcome. Excellent customer service and a real credit to Harron Homes.

Great experience at Forge Green, lovely properties, Dawn couldn't do enough to help. Gave us lots of information, showed us around and told us all about the properties.

We visited Nevison’s Fold to look at property and were generously looked after by Penny Rands and Sue. Their service and expertise helped us leave with a reserved property. Thank you so much for all your support on our visit on 19th April 2026.

Recently purchased our first home in West Yorkshire, from the start both Caroline and Nat were very helpful and informative, always gave us information when we asked for it in a timely manner and went above and beyond. Very thorough communication throughout and always kept us up to date as best they could.

This review is only about Customer Care. I’ve been speaking to Caroline and she has been fantastic- responsive, helpful, and efficient. The team who have come out to fix a number of issues - John & Michael - are brilliant. Again, they are helpful and friendly, and absolutely know their stuff; from brick work to roof tiles.
Whilst the buying part of the process was less than smooth - and I had a massive snagging list when I moved in - the aftercare is really exceptional and the customer care team deserve a lot of credit for putting things right and even improving them. They are also full of great advice and guidance, and are a pleasure to see turn up!

Mike has been to our home about 4 times to rectify faults with our new home at Simpson park plot 133. Each time Mike has demonstrated professional workmanship to a high standard. Mike is very polite and has a very caring attitude towards the customer and the job he undertakes

On Mikes last visit he was accompanied by John.
John also presented quality workmanship to the same high standard. Fabulous banter between themselves. Loved listening to them
