Glitches and bugs constantly!!!! Everyone is telling the truth. Do not pay for this app, it’s useless and no refund given. Every morning when I click onto the season I’ve been watching, it doesn’t even show where I last finished and I have to jump from episode 4 to 10,11,12 etc. good riddance

Not working for MacBook. Received an email saying they were aware but it wasn’t fixed yet. It hasn’t been working for nearly a month and offered no money back for service not provided.

Paying $$ for constant freezing & being…

Paying $$ for constant freezing & being randomly kicked off while in the middle of a program. Paying money to be ripped off.
Tonight I got kicked off with an "error code 1003" that I cant seem to get any help with
13 days after I paid my last monthly fee, I was suddenly disconnected then emailed to confirm that I had chosen to "leave" and when I clicked the I dont want to leave option, I was then charged again to reinstated a subscription I didnt cancel!! SORT IT OUT.

Hayu is the WORST app out there

Hayu is the WORST app out there. Why are these TV shows not boycotting it? It’s ALWAYS glitching and I’m unable to use it on many occasions without any online assistance. All the TV series need to listen to their viewers and do something about it. It’s not good enough

Not even 1 star!!!! Like minus a million.

How frustrating to have a night planned get half way through something and spend the rest of your night looking at a pink circle, and I know it's you coz Binge loads straight away.

Not cool Hayu do better. This isn't my first problem with your app, it's been happening since last year but tonight I'm over it. I actually think from reading your reviews you don't care either and are maybe can't be bothered to listen and provide a service we pay for???!!!

If any of the programmes marketing read these reviews, help us Australians as we can only get some of your stuff on Hayu..... look into other apps so we can watch you.

Right i said i'd do it and i did. I will not pay for a service that i am not receiving. Such a shame i have bedn with them for years. But there are other ways to access what i need to watch. Their loss.

Never use this company

Never use this company. They have been taking money twice from both my daughter and my bank accounts for months. Refuse to take ownership, keep saying it’s iTunes even though I have never had an iTunes account. Refuse to refund the money and terrible customer service who do not read the previous emails. Horrendous company

This app is dreadful for amount of people that subscribe why on every episode there’s an error and the show stops it’s insane

Everytime there is a new episode

Everytime there is a new episode, it just buffers.
So can't watch until a few days later.
Examples are Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Below Deck Down Under.
Not sure I would keep !!!

Honestly pretty disappointed with this app. The subtitles often don’t match what’s actually being said, which makes it confusing to watch. The TV app is even worse than the mobile version — it logs me out randomly, forgets where I stopped watching, and doesn’t track when I’ve watched multiple episodes in a row. I constantly have to remember myself which episode I’m on and manually find it again.

This has been happening for a long time, and now the price has gone up too, which makes it even more frustrating. I like the shows, but the app experience is really poor and needs serious improvement.

Amazon Prime gave out my bank details to Hayu

I have Amazon Prime on my tv. Just out of curiosity I had a look at the Hayu app. It was giving a free trial, so I downloaded the app, without giving any details of my bank account.
After having a look, I decided that it wasn’t for me, and logged off the app.
This morning I received an email from Hayu, giving the date of my free trial had started - AND THEY HAD FULL DETAILS IF MY BANK ACCOUNT.
As I had given them no details of my bank account, I can only assume that Amazon Prime had given them the details. All without my permission.
I have tried, via their customer service to get in touch with both, but with no avail. And I am absolutely fuming! Surely it is illegal for Amazon to give out my bank details to ANYONE?
If anyone can provide details, not the American phone number, but preferably an email address, of how to get in touch with Amazon about this, I would be most grateful, because at this moment in time I am thinking of packing in business with them for what they have done.

Shite company

Shite company. Poor app, unable to link Amazon subscription to Hayu through their app as only shows options to do subscriptions through their app, yet their webpage has a button for “if you have an Amazon subscription please click here” yet you can’t then watch anything on the browser. Ongoing issue since December 2025, endless emails have been ignored and social media team rubbish. Don’t bother.

The website and app constantly crashes, does not load or is slow. To post this review I have to give a date of experience. The date is the past 3 years there is constant issues with the app and website. It’s not acceptable when people are paying.
