Please DO NOT order from this company!

Please do not order from this company. The $100+ arrangement with wine that I ordered was nothing like what was delivered. I asked for Spring tulips—pinks and purples in paper with a complementing pink sparkling wine bottle. My friend got orange blooms on a vase, pink bottle, purple bow. Hot mess. So embarrassing. Thankfully the thought counts. Just didn’t know the thought might have been mentally ill! I’m so disappointed.

I ordered a gift for my sister—a plant

I ordered a gift for my sister—a plant, a box of chocolates, and a bottle of wine—for her birthday. I placed the order on 12/10/2024, requesting delivery on 12/23/2024.

First, the gift arrived four days late. To make matters worse, the plant, which was the main item, was missing from the package. I immediately contacted their customer service, who asked me to provide photo evidence. I sent the photos as requested, but their response was the usual scripted customer service excuse, claiming the package was damaged in transit. This explanation seemed untrue, as the package showed no signs of tampering.

They offered me a choice between a refund or a resend. I opted for a resend, but they later refused, stating it would cost them too much to send the item again. When I called back to express my frustration, the customer service representative was dismissive and unapologetic. They refused to take responsibility for their mistake, making it clear they had no intention of resolving the issue.

It feels like they never intended to include the plant in the first place. This company is fraudulent and unethical—they take your money without delivering what you ordered. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Not Concerned With Timely Delivery

Heartthorn customer service told me that they are not concerned with timely delivery when I complained about my gift arriving 4 days late.

I ordered my gift early in December and paid for it to arrive on the 23rd of December, before Christmas. The gift was only sent out by Heartthorn on the 24th, a day late, and it was finally delivered on the 27th, well after Christmas. While I understand external couriers do the later stages of shipping, I would at least expect the package to be sent out by Heartthorn on/before the date that I paid for.

Customer Service said that Heartthorn is not concerned with a timely delivery and that they are more concerned with a successful delivery. Saying that they don't offer refunds for packages that arrive late because it's out of their control, and because they are confident that it will arrive successfully at some point.

I don't see how sending a package out from their own facility, a day late, is outside of their control. Also I think that when it comes to gifts, and especially flowers for loved ones, the delivery date does matter. Acting like the date is irrelevant is ridiculous in my opinion. So I will no longer be using their service to gift flowers to loved ones.
