Dermot came to my house yesterday I’ve never written a review before but I feel that due to his outstanding work he deserve this recognition.

We wanted a log burner installed in the already existing void from the previous old fireplace in the house.

After ringing Dermet he came around in two days to inspect the work that needed doing. From there we got a quote of him and scheduled the installation in 2 weeks even before our holidays. So I am very happy here. No long waiting time. As I had no Stove chosen yet Dermet was helpful giving me advice on a good quality and fitting size adequate for the room size.

The installation happend quick. Dermet is very routined and he can install even bespoke stoves.

It took the late morning till late lunch. Dermet covered and protected the floorboards and carpet from dust. So when we left it required only minimal cleaning.

Dermot has just fitted a log burner for me and the whole process from start to finish was outstanding. I contacted multiple companies and was told that the log burner couldn’t go through a glass roof, but Dermot advised that this could be done but a specialised piece of glass would need to be made. He arranged for someone to come and measure up and make the glass for it to be able to go through the conservatory roof and it is a perfect match to the existing glass. As i have just had a new conservatory fitted Dermot took extra care in making sure everything was covered up and cleaned afterwards. He also took the time in showing me how everything worked and gave me advice on how to look after the log burner. The fire looks absolutely stunning and is a great new addition to my home. Dermot was very professional and made sure everything ran smoothly and I would definitely recommend Dermot to anyone looking to have a fire fitted. Thankyou so much!

We can not put into words how happy we are with our new log burner. From the off Dermot provided an excellent service, he was quick to communicate, and responded with any queries we had immediately. Both Dermot and Jay were extremely professional, friendly and went out of there way to make sure we were happy with everything. Dermot is an absolute perfectionist and his workmanship first class. For what is a dusty job we were amazed at how minimal dust was left after the work was completed. If your thinking of getting a log burner I would 100% recommend choosing heatmatters. Dermot was so helpful through the whole process. He came round the very next day after my initial enquiry to view the original fireplace. Then he helped find the best stove for us and the perfect brick slip as I was being very particular in what I wanted. Offering lots of different suggestions for me to research. Once I was happy with my choices a date was booked in promptly to instal.
The day of installation was stress free and the two of them completed it to a very high standard finish all in the same day. Leaving us very excited to light it on a summers night.

Dermot and his team were excellent, from the first visit to the final visit. All the work was explained, and he even made sure we knew how to use the new install in the most efficient way.
I would use them again and would recommend them, they were so clean and tidy too!

I seriously cannot fault the work from Dermot from start to finish. He was very helpful in choosing our stove and installation was very quick. I can count on one hand the number of reviews I've left for people, as there's always something not quite right and I don't want to be false. However, with Dermot & Jay I'd gladly give them more than 5 stars if I could.
The breakdown on the cost up front was clear, Dermot was friendly and honest in what he'd do, and they turned up and worked their nuts off for a day! Both Dermot and Jay were pleasant and professional and we couldn't be happier. The stove and fireplace look superb and the fact they did it all in one day is amazing. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

Had a new cast iron fire fitted by Dermot an can honestly say the experience was painless. He communicated throughout, always getting back to me which I often find is the painful part of getting work done.
Broke everything down on the invoice, was clear with everything.
