This company suffers from very poor…

This company suffers from very poor management and unstable leadership. There have been frequent CEO changes, which creates confusion and a lack of clear direction. Layoffs happen regularly, every few months so there is no real sense of job security or stability. I would not recommend this company if you are looking for a stable and supportive work environment. Stay away!

The cuts are very high

The fees are very high. Loads all currency risk onto the employee. Very poor tax planning. After all fees and poor treatment, the employee receives only about 45% of what the employer pays.

Horrible Experience

My experience with the immigration team was horrible

My recent experience with Velocity Global as an onboarding provider revealed serious inefficiencies in how they handle documentation and time-sensitive processes. Despite providing all required legal documents in a timely and transparent manner, the onboarding process was delayed for over two weeks due to repeated misreading and misinterpretation of standard employment verification materials.

Instead of following clear documentation and existing government guidance, the process was marked by:

Misinterpretation of straightforward employment eligibility documents, even when supported by government-issued references.

Lack of timely communication or justification for decisions made.

Unmet deadlines, with no accountability or revised timelines offered.

A pattern of decision-making based on assumptions, rather than a clear reading of the evidence and existing compliance frameworks.

In one instance, I was even advised to “adjust” a document issued by a government body—an impractical and inappropriate suggestion, especially for an organisation tasked with legal onboarding.

Velocity Global’s handling of this process not only caused unnecessary delays but also created confusion and avoidable stress, undermining confidence in the integrity and efficiency of their compliance operations. This level of inconsistency and delay is particularly concerning for individuals on time-limited contracts or navigating sensitive employment timelines.

Onboarding providers working with global talent and vulnerable populations must operate with a higher standard of legal accuracy, cultural competence, and procedural transparency. Unfortunately, that standard was not met in this experience.

I hope this review prompts a much-needed internal review of training, protocols, and accountability within Velocity Global’s compliance and immigration services.

The best EoR ever

It is very unfrotunate that in Germany you can only work for the same EoR for 18 months. In my experience Velocity Global is the best EoR, very responsive and supportive. The best thing with them is that they are trying to help and find a solution to any problem you have without constantly just responding with learnt by heart phrases of usual hr prople like "we don't know" "it is not our responsibility" "you need to do it yourself" "you need to contact xyz". They always have an answerr for you, and even when I had to change my EoR and had to write them regarding some issue, they still were more responsive and supportive then my current employer. I appreciate them a lot and will always recommend to everyone.
