I do not recommend this platform for trading. Like the reviewers have mentioned I have put through market orders and that just came through minutes after. Absolutely disgusting. I tried to cancel those orders, they did not even cancel. Stay away if you're a trader.

For starters, TERRIBLE SUPPORT. No contact phone number, emails responded to 48 sometimes 72 hours after submitting. Child-like responses from obnoxious support staff, unwilling to stand behind their product nor provide explanations for numerous App and website issues. The overall experience reminiscent of 80’s shower-curtain ring salesman. Planes, trains and automobiles at least had a happy ending, this won’t.
Trading on Stake is basic at best, from depositing funds, executing orders to withdrawals.
Funds do not reach your trading account by the advertised time, and the more costly Express deposit option is absolute nonsense.
When funds do reach the account, you won’t be able to trade immediately unless closing and reopening the app a dozen or so times.
Very poor news, data and chart feeds, no research capabilities, constantly in ‘think’ mode and super unresponsive, all of which is unacceptable by 2019 standards.
‘Limit’ orders do not execute no matter what level the limit is set.
‘Market’ orders process swiftly and without any glitches, proving that Stake is skimming off your trades, and if you’re unaware what this means, look it up.
Though most disappointedly, Stake fails to inform new users about unsettled proceeds from sell orders. These cannot be accessed and are unavailable for trading, meaning new trades cannot be made for 2 business days. It’s an absolute disgrace and potentially a scam, as this is not noted anywhere in their user terms nor FAQ’s.
Fair warning for those looking to trade with Stake, these guys pocket interest on YOUR deposited funds whilst you battle with their cartoon app. My best guess is that Stake won’t survive the winter, if they don’t do a runner with your cash they’ll most likely be forced to close by watchdogs or the ACCC.

Same as previous review - stay away or be prepared to be scammed. Backend is unbelievably slow. If you put a market order in, it'll fill whenever the backend wants to - even if you end up buying/selling at the top/bottom. It takes even longer to try and cancel orders and if it decides to suddenly fill the order after you've cancelled it you're out of luck. If you're hoping to take short term positions and trade on volatility, good luck since you'll be lucky getting one trade off every 6 hours. Better off paying a higher brokerage than using this scam.

It looks good but is the worst platform ever! it will cause you to lose your money! I put a market sell order doesn't go through at the right time. I put a buy order doesn't go through at the right time. I try to cancel the already delayed orders won't let me cancel? How do u suggest anyone use this??? Stay away from this platform. I have complained many times about this they have done nothing. I am going to pull all my money from it and find some other platform that actually works.

While it seemed like a great platform but their reliability is questionable.
I had my funds disappear from the account. No pending settlement would show and no funds available in the "Buying Power". I raised a support ticket. I haven't heard back in 5 workdays. The funds did turn up in a day or two and then I got a response from Stake saying "we see the funds, let us know if you need further support". When asked what happened in the first place, this is the response I got: "Over the weekend, we experienced a minor disruption on the figures being reported on some customer accounts. This issue was resolved on Saturday. I can see from your transaction log that your account has been reconciled correctly but let us know if you believe you're still experiencing an issue."
We trust you with our money and you don't notify people of service disruptions? Funds can just disappear and we need to wait for 5 days to get a response?
Nah, I am getting out of here.

I recently tried to use stake, 1st account funding result in an error but funds deducted from my bank account but not reflecting in my stake account, still waiting for resolution.

2nd funding went through, paid for express clearing it's been 5 days past the ETA stake states for the funds to settle and still don't have any buying power.

Support is slow and I haven't had any resolutions to my issues to date. From my experience with STAKE so far I would NOT recommend them to ANYONE.

They stole my money and cliams i was hacked right when i reach minimum withdrawal range and no one knew i was playing there cause i dont play there ofren at all so it could only be there staff targeting accounts then blaming u saying your passwords weak

I really like and recommend Stake. The team at Stake are very helpful and responsive. The platform (Both Browser and App) are intuitive and good for beginners and experience traders.

I hope Stake expands into Aus and other markets as well :). Highly recommenced.

Always been a seemless app/ website that gives access to the US market to those who wouldn’t otherwise ‘bother’ to do so. The newsletters are informative and engaging. I can only fault one thing, which is that the funds take 2 days to settle after selling. But this is a small issue that may be out of their control due to legislation (not sure).

Stake provides a fantastic way to discover and trade US stocks with an awesome user experience across both their desktop site and app. I also love how you can gift shares to people very easily. Highly recommended!

Amazing! You do it so well for the US market, why not offer it for the ASX with a different revenue model given FX would be off the cards. The user experience and app would be a big plus and I would see it as an easy way for the general public to "shop for shares" in Australia. Happy to pay a brokerage commision of it meant I had the ease and accessibilty Stake provides currently! Keep it up!

This is a great app for a very easy and hasslefree to buy shares in the USA.

Relatively easy to transfer funds for USD and almost effortless to purchase US shares. Exceptional value with no brokerage. Highly recommend. Could be improved by receiving formal contract and proof of share ownership.
