Great communication throughout my order
Ordered over £1000 worth of items off the website.
Came across a few issues regarding my items. I had called the office a few times.
Spoke with Gary who was very helpful and kept me updated throughout the delivery.
Also spoke with Chris who was also helpful.
Communication is key, and the company sure kept essential communication throughout my process!
I have not given 5* purely because of the stress from the issues that occurred however, overall resolving was quick and efficient which was a 5* service!

Great quality
Our second order after being extremely happy with the table, we bought the bench to match. Very happy with the quality of the purchase.
Delivery drivers were friendly and professional and overall we would use again.
The only reason why I haven't gone for 5 stars is the delivery tracking function and communication which although a great idea, if not kept up to date and accurate does more harm than good. Our delivery window was 8am to 11am or similar but didn't arrive until after 5pm due to delays on the road. But at no point was the tracker updated to reflect this, leaving me stuck in the house waiting for a delivery all day unnecessarily.

Failed to deliver
Really disappointed with the companies inability to supply a bench that was ordered way back in January. Part of the order arrived within the 5 weeks originally quoted, but every estimated date of delivery was pushed back time and time again. The latest date was June. Nearly 6 months late. Being fed up with the poor service level we decided to ask for our money back and ask for compensation for sitting on over £700 for over 4 months. We were offered a £50 voucher as compensation to use with a future purchase, which wouldn’t get you very far; and quite frankly i wouldn’t spend another penny with this company if you doubled the amount. My advice to potential buyers would be to shop around other suppliers because a lot of their supplied furniture can be bought a lot cheaper elsewhere. We got our identical bench for half the price.

Thank you for taking the time this afternoon to talk to me and for sharing your feedback about your experience. As a business we are always looking at ways we can improve and i can assure you we will act on the feedback given.
As discussed, the delivery times shown on the website at the time of purchase was accurate but unfortunately due to logistical challenges incurred by our supplier, the stock kept getting pushed back. For this we are sorry. The delivery updates we gave you were in good faith, never meaning to miss lead. We were simply passing on the information from our supplier.
I also take on board your comment about compensation. As mentioned, this can be tricky, there's no hard and fast rule about how much compensation to give when things don't go as planned. I agree however in this instance we could have offered more.
Finally, regarding price, we only supply, quality/genuine products at competitive prices. We also offer free delivery and run promotions that are often on.
Once again, thank you for your feedback. I found it really useful and some great feedback to share with the wider team on ways we can improve our service in the future if this were to happen again.

Superb service and product
Superb service from Hemming and Wills on the delivery of our new dining table. A short delivery wait time even after rearranging our time slot. The table and bench fit perfectly within our home and I’m extremely happy with the quality of the product.
