Definitely some effort but so worth it
I purchased 2 bags of microfine black and 2 bags of microfine aqua glitter additive. I initially used the 2 black in a quart of black paint and even though my test was good (I used a paint brush) when I rolled 2 coats on the wall I had no shimmer at all. I reached out to customer support and they were amazing! Gave me a lot of things to try. The paint I used it in was Behr interior paint and primer, which is fairly thick anyway. Add in the glitter and it gets too thick. I added some Floetrol and the 2 bags of aqua glitter and the results are spectacular!!! I did also purchase the buffing pads and that made the difference. Just some things I found - stir your paint constantly. The glitter wants to settle to the bottom. When you first add the glitter stir it until you think your arm will fall off. If you don't stir it enough you'll get clumps and also have parts of the paint without glitter. Also, when you use the buffing pads they will leave lint on your paint since the glitter causes a slightly rough texture. I just used a lint roller to remove it. Not sure if it's because of the type of paint I used or the color or because I got the microfine but I ended up using 4 bags to a quart, not the 2 that it says is recommended but I would absolutely buy this again!!

Colour a disappointment
The ordering and delivery went well however the effect was supposed to be copper. It was the colour but had no sheen so appears more terracotta. Perhaps not meant for grout.

Hemway is my ‘go to paint’
Hemway is my ‘go to paint’. My kitchen is beautifully made, in solid wood, which makes it so easy to change the colour when I like. I’ve painted lots of homes and furniture and I can promise you won’t be disappointed. Knocks spots off its rivals!

Well satisfied with purchase
Cannot comment as of yet as I have not used the brushes, but as I think I have already stated was looking for a good set of brushes for when I eventually start and these fit the bill, well made feels in control when holding due to the wooden sculptured handle and the bristles look fine to create a smooth finish

Excellent value and quality goods
At the time of purchase there was an offer of 2 for 1 on the boxes of glitters, which made them incredible value and, when they arrived, I was not disappointed with the quality and selection of the glitters and sprinkles. Generously, they had also included several free samples of additional glitters, which was a lovely surprise and I was extremely grateful. I will definitely purchase from Hemway again.

The white glitter is semi-transparent, which allows for a subtle shimmer effect depending on the surface and lighting. We’ve included a demonstration video on our website to showcase its appearance, but I understand it might not have been clear enough.

The best grout ever
The best grout ever . Love this product . Easy to use and gorgeous on whatever you’re using it on . I’m a glass mosaic artist and this is the only grout I use . I recommend it to all my artist friends and students .
