Natalie was our Conveyancer during the purchase of our first home and she was excellent. She was always ahead of the game and even found issues that had not been identified/raised in previous sales. The fees were reasonable, and felt good value for the service. Will consider using Hethertons services again in the future.

They chase fake debts and harass people.

This judgement only got acknowledged because I did not show up as I was out of the country I will be applying g to appeal anyway so looks like you will have to spend a lot more money yet.

Also judgement is awarded to a very old address

Discussed a new job over the phone with Phil. Was promised paperwork imminently. Chased 5 times via email and phone over several weeks, and was promised a file is open, we'll call you back, paperwork should be with you on Monday. Never heard from them again, went elsewhere.
If you don't want a job, say so, don't say you'll take it on and then not action it.

Avoid - Incompetent. They do not deliver. Timescales promised in their Terms and Conditions in weeks; but turn into many months of anguish. Costs excessive and questionable as these keep changing. No breakdown of bill given with their final balance. Communication shocking. Send a query and do not hear for almost 4 months. They do not like complaints and handle unfairly. I have approached the Legal Ombudsman about Hethertons. Do not use this company.

Got straight through to Andrew himself when I phoned for initial advice about securing a solicitor to explain an “agreed exit” settlement.
Reassuringly clear explanation and very easy to deal with going forward.
Also the cheapest price, but this was not the main factor for choosing Andrew to work for me.

We have just moved from York to West Bridgford and have been delighted with the support we have received from Hethertons in what was quite a stressful period. Natalie Hall was responsible for the conveyancing and was proactive in keeping the whole process moving even when other solicitors in the chain were being less than helpful! I was very happy with how helpful Natalie Hall was with the buying of an apartment. Natalie was fantastic throughout our whole house purchase. She was extremely efficient, prompt and communicated with us regularly, providing regular updates. Even when she went on annual leave, she informed us within good time and another member of staff took over our purchase during that time.
