Customer service is trash. Purchased the software about 5 months ago, and hey it worked it recovered what I needed urgently but several files were "corrupted" but I was able to recover them with testdisk

When i upgraded to a new pc and wanted to transfer my liscence that I paid for is when the issues arrived. After I downloaded their current version it kept saying my liscence was wrong. This is when I called customer service, they just told me to check my email and hung up. Then I emailed and they told me that it was because the version 5.2 was too new for my liscence which was 5.1... which should work since its the same major version, however not wanting to argue any more I asked for a download to 5.1 since that wasnt on their site anymore. No more responses and my calls where not being returned. I ended up having to download the 5.1 version from a 3rd party website to be able to use the software i purchased.

Just stay away from hetman there are better options out there

I paid $45.90 for Hetman Partition Recovery, but unfortunately all recovered files were corrupted and unusable.

I contacted support but received no helpful response.

Very disappointing experience. I do not recommend this software.

Ich habe versehentlich eine Datei auf einem Wechseldatenträger gelöscht. Die Wiederherstellung mit mir bekannten Tools funktionierte nicht. Hier bin ich auf Hetman Uneraser aufmerksam geworden, welches auf mich einen vielversprechenden Eindruck vermittelt hat.

Zudem hat mich die Rücknahmegarantie überzeugt, da ich davon ausgegangen war, im Zweifelsfall das Geld wiederzubekommen. Auf der Seite von Hetman hieß es: „Abgesehen von der Möglichkeit der kostenlosen Testdurchführung Hetman bietet eine 30 Tage Geld-zurück-Garantie.“

Als ich Hetman Uneraser im Dezember 2025 gekauft hatte, war es jedoch nicht möglich die Datei wiederherzustellen. Zwar stimmte die Größe der wiederhergestellten Datei, jedoch nicht der Inhalt.

Als ich über die Rücknahmegarantie innerhalb der 30 Tage das Geld zurückerstattet haben wollte, wurde dies mit dem Hinweis darauf abgelehnt, dass ich ja die Möglichkeit hatte, das Programm zu testen. Völlig losgelöst davon, dass eine 30 tägige Rücknahmegarantie ja gerade nicht mit einer Bedingung verknüpft werden kann, so kann die Wiederherstellung der Datei erst getestet werden, wenn das Programm gekauft wurde, da diese Funktion erst ab diesem Augenblick zur Verfügung steht. Der Support hat noch bis Mitte Februar 2026 auf Nachrichten von mir geantwortet, danach nicht mehr.

I accidentally deleted a file from a removable storage device. The recovery with tools I knew did not work. That’s when I came across Hetman Uneraser, which made a very promising impression on me.

Moreover, I was convinced by the money-back guarantee, as I assumed I would get my money back in case of doubt. On Hatman's website, it said: "Aside from the possibility of a free trial, Hetman offers a 30-day money-back guarantee."

However, when I purchased Hetman Uneraser in December 2025, I was unable to recover the file. While the size of the recovered file matched, the content did not.

When I requested a refund within the 30-day return period, it was rejected with the reason that I had the opportunity to test the program. Completely disregarding the fact that a 30-day money-back guarantee cannot be tied to any condition, the file recovery can only be tested after purchasing the program, as this feature becomes available only at that point. The support responded to my messages until mid-February 2026, but then stopped responding.

I begin with license for partition recovery. That wassend working. In the program they advised me to use the raid recovery program. I had to recover files one disk from a Synology raid. In the advertisement they let you believe you can connect to you nas and it will be recovered. Thats misleading=, you have to take out your disk and make a full scan, Well the scan onley takes more then 3 days for a disk with 1,8 Tb. And after that, the Volume1 (This is wat I needed) was visible but only the root files. Not the maps with the files. So I contact them and I ask for a return of my money. They refused it, because there is a free try you can download. I explained the situation how I was suggested witin there other program to buy the raid recovery. But they refuse me to get my money back.

I allready contact your technical team. It won't work, and I don't have the tome to wait more theb 3 days to scan the disk.

Software gekauft Vollversion war nötig um testen zu können. Funktionierte aber nicht! Weigern sich Kaufpreis von € 97,95 € zu erstatten. Keine deutsche Firma, ist einfach nur UNSERIÖS dieser Verein. Finger weg !!! Blender.

All files supposedly recovered were Corrupt, but Disk Drill WORKED so don't use Hetman Software it sucks!
