I worked for xtravision and hmv for 10 yrs so u think I would have learned my lesson and know what they are like! I had my doubts about ordering from them but went along and ordered a box set 26th December I received an email 28th December saying my item had shipped .. No information of where it was shipped from or what company it was shipped with. I still havnt received my item and when I try to track it the only information I have is shipped. I emailed and didn't get a reply the phone numbers are not working. I hope they don't go out of business and keep everyone's money like the shops did this time 2 yrs ago!

Everyone complaining on this site please contact consumer rights agency Ireland on 01 402 5555. If 30 days has past since you processed your order they will have to take action. HMV Ireland should not be in business robbing consumer money in this fashion. The same thing happened to me, no order received, no response to contact, and a phone number that is not active, incredibly frustrating.

Placed my order on the 30th December still has not been shipped. Sent 2 emails no response. Called a couple of numbers that are no longer in service. Shocking service. Avoid AVOID AVOID

Horrendous company to deal with ordered 2 blu-rays for stocking fillers on the 29th of November (I thought that was plenty of time) , it's now 7 January and still no sign / contact. Several emails sent and all I've got are acknowledgement emails that my complaint has been received ??? I would say that they have awful customer service but that's not true , they have NO customer service good /bad .But it is good to know their accounts section works very well as money for said products was taken from my account as soon as I ordered !!!

I ordered a christmas present for a friend on the 11th of December.... on the 19th I got an email to say it was on route. Now the 5th of Jan and nothing has come. I have sent 3 emails since making the order and nothing. I only spent about 15€ but regardless....they should be refunding people if they cant not deliver on the goods. Disgraceful

Should have O Stars.Same Story as all the Rest. How are they able to get away with this.They are still trading,Only in Ireland. Have just discovered.If You Paid with Credit Card or Visa etc, Go to Your Bank with details of Your Purchase and they will do a Backcharge and You will be Refunded Your Money.

Would give 0 stars if possible.

Similar story to others; order placed on 11th Dec but still no sign of it on 6th Jan. Still process according to their site. I've used their online form, telephone number, twitter and email, to ask for updates, but haven't heard back once.

Will never shop with HMV again.

Like everyone else I have just had my money stolen by HMV Ireland.. Ordered item over a month ago. No response to my 5 requested for updates. As far as I can see they are just robbing peoples money.

The Irish Sun did an article before Christmas in relation to problems people are having with HMV. Email the paper with your experiences as i reckon a new article is in the offing.

I'm in the same boat as everyone else. Same scenario - Order placed 12th Dec, order shipped 13th Dec, It's 5th Jan now and still no sign of my Blu Ray disc. I've also sent emails to HMV. I received one pathetic reply but that's about it. I think we can all wave goodbye to our money as this lot neither care about their customers, nor their reputation. I'm not wasting any more time or negative energy chasing this up. I normally use Amazon for Blu Ray's, DVD's etc but I thought I would give HMV a try as they used to be a great company back in the day. I only give suppliers one chance, their are no second chances with me. HMV have still not learnt their lesson. Their shops have closed down and they have previously gone into liquidation. Just use Amazon, they're really good and always deliver when they say they will. Two fingers up to HMV.

Absolutely brutal experience. Non-responsive customer service reps. Package was supposed to be a Christmas gift hasn't yet arrived. Gangsters.

Same as everyone else here I ordered two items on the 13th December 2017
and have not arrived. Emailed, and rang both numbers HMV supply on their website no answer either by email or telephone.

Never received my delivery. Awful customer service

Update: Product was eventually received at a much later date. But not before experiencing the following & still would not deal with them again.

Despite allowing for Christmas rush/ post/ holidays, sending a number of emails between 21/12/17 & 02/01/18, contacting HMV through their contact section (not currently operating), numerous phone calls to 0044 20 39122077 between 22/12/17 & 02/01/18 which results in a dead line, engaged tone or rings out..... I still have not received a human reply as to when I could receive my order

Order made 12/12/17, shipping confirmation 14/12/17, automated reply 22/12/17 stated " that a batch of mail appears to have been redirected upon arriving in Dublin earlier this month. All we can do is apologise, and inform you that these items are now arriving with customers. One of our team will be in touch as quickly as possible to give you an update."..... I am still awaiting up date, still not have received my order & no actual communication has been received from HMV.ie.

Currently my money is gone, no goods or response has been received & although it is a small amount, I feel like I have been stolen from! Trustpilot is showing others have been equally robbed by HMV, but how many more are out there?? HMV.ie site is very much in operation & I have since received many emails in relation to offers - so this practice of theft could continue. AVOID!!

I ordered two DVDs at the beginning of December and got confirmation of shipping on the 5th of December. Well, here we are on the 2nd of January and there's no sign of my purchases. I've emailed HMV twice and phoned both numbers, but have gotten zero response. Their phone numbers don't even connect properly!

Moral of the story is: Don't ever use their website unless you want your money stolen. No wonder they went into receivership a few years ago!

As with most other HMV ireland customers I have had funds deducted from my account for items which I have not received. I had confirmation from HMV that one of my orders was cancelled - however this is the only order I have received and funds were taken from my account after the cancellation confirmation.
HMV will not respond to the contact us form on their website. They have a telephone number published which also does not answer.

Do not use or deal with HMV I ordered a Christmas present from them and am so far still waiting for. Useless company will not even answer my emails

My money is gone but no DVDs delivered .

We all need to get together (as a group )and report HMV to the Irish trading standards and the guards .

The same as everyone else. Ordered on 28 November and have received nothing. No response to any of my messages.

As with all the the people below I have also been left high and dry by this company with the Christmas presents I ordered online. Items supposedly dispatched on the 8th of December. Tried to contact them repeatedly since without reply. After looking at all the reviews below I now realise that I will probably never receive them. They should not be allowed get swindling people out of their money and like many others I will be bringing the matter further in the new year!!!
