I rang an agent following up on a deal from Travelzoo, which I didn't take up because the single occupancy 'supplement' more than doubled the price. The phone agent then tried to push me into booking other hotels, insisting they were central when I could see clearly on Google Maps that they weren't.

They've since called me 3 times asking if I'm interested in discount holidays. On the original call I wasn't asked if I consented to being part of their customer database. After the second call I asked to be removed, citing GDPR, and have just been called again. Avoid, you'll never be rid of them even if you don't book.

I'd be very wary about booking with this company.
Today, I purchased a trip for January.
First, I received a confirmation email for another customer breaking GDPR, which I informed the company about.
I eventually received my own flight itinerary and hotel voucher. I was told as part of the price of the holiday, I would received 10kg of luggage included (flying Wizz.) This was not on the flight booking itinerary nor the Wizz app when I looked up my booking. I have to pay an additional 27 quid each way for 10kg.
I was also told that ALL holiday taxes were included with no mention of a city tax. I don't expect HolidayBuzz to cover the city tax but I do expect honesty and transparency.
I plan to contact the hotel directly in a few days to ensure they received my booking!
My advice - avoid! It is the first time I've booked with this company and so far they have lied twice!

I have just spoken to a charming agent called Charly manning who has been so helpful.
I could not find my holiday documents which he kindly sent again for me.
He patiently read the itinerary for me and gave me answers to all of my queries.

Company advertised a price on Travelzoo of £190 per person for a 3 night trip to Vienna around XMAS 2025. When I called (within an hour of the advert going live) they said there was no way they could do it for that price and quoted me over £600 for exactly what was advertised for £190. Lots of pushy upselling and ultimately a waste of time. Walked away without booking.

The package offered represents excellent value for money, and the agent worked hard to achieve an itinerary that exactly suits our needs. Unfortunately, after five days I had still not received a confirmation and so I called them again. I was quickly able to speak to a very helpful agent (Eva Pedro) who did not take very long to find my booking, and she was able to send me the confirmation. I got the impression that the agents are based somewhere very remote, so the quality of the connection was not great and it was not easy for us to understand each other. It is likely that the agent who originally handled my booking (Robin) made an error when noting down my e-mail address. Other than that, I'm happy with the process so far; flights are with BA but it remains to be seen whether the hotel included in the package lives up to its four-star rating and strong recommendation.

Very poor communication and are not bothered. I had to ring them over and over to find out how to get from my hotel to my pickup point for my shuttle home. when I asked this question I was told to ask reception and when I informed them that they did not know, they told me that they had phoned them to say that I had paid for my hotel and they would now help me, But they did not help. I repeated this request about five times to no avail. Getting there was a nightmare too

Not the best company I’ve ever used…holiday stated 4star hotel, at best it was 2 star. Not clear when booking all the additional costs ie: transfers & luggage.
The transfer didn’t show on arrival which caused us undue stress & due to language barriers took an age to sort out! Would not use this company again EVER!!!!

I made a booking with this company for a trip to Marrakesh at a hotel which they advertised. However when I received my confirmation it was for a totally different and inferior hotel. I complained and they then said this hotel was nit available and then offered me another even poorer quality property. I then asked for a refund which they refused to pay. It took some months and the intervention of my credit card provider to obtain a refund. I would not ever deal with this company again

Lucky to get a one star. Holidaybuzz sort out the holidays for Wowcher. Paid nearly £500 on Wowcher for a holiday which was advertised on the Wowcher website. Got a phone call from HB saying that the holiday was not available and all the old spiel about the computer wont do this.. Was then told that I couldn't get a refund and had to book a holiday elsewhere, which i did reluctantly, only to pay more and find out later that I could have booked it cheaper myself. This company is nearly in the hard sell/Scam category. Phone assistant just kept talking and didint stop, just endless barrage of "you have to do this/that". Then I was told that the flights included cabin bags and when I checked on the Ryanair website, they weren't. Just an all round terrible experience and never again.

I cannot explain how bad this company is. Bought a package deal for a holiday in the Bahamas so as you can imagine this wasn’t cheap. After a long flight we arrived to find our transfer which we had paid the company for wasn’t there. Upon ringing them, we were advised they weren’t coming as they had never been paid by the company despite the company providing us with transfer vouchers. This really soured the beginning of the holiday and I was so worried on the taxi drive to the hotel (which we had to pay for ourselves) that we would arrive at the hotel and they wouldn’t have paid them either. Thankfully this wasn’t the case. I then spent the entire rest of the holiday duration emailing the company to ask about the return transfer (which was also paid to them upfront) and was assured numerous times it was definitely coming but they wouldn’t send me any screenshots of communications with local company to put my mind at ease. Low and behold it didn’t turn up for our return journey so we had to fork out again for a taxi to the airport as to not miss flight home so again the anxiety and dread was at an all time high. When returning I have emailed and emailed and been promised a refund which I am still waiting for. This company is disgusting and should not be in business. Please do not make the same mistake I did and book with them. You will regret it!

This company will do there best to find you a holiday even if the hotel is a rat hole ( as I checked online and saw the reviews and rejected severl hotels).
The aftercare service is poor and i would suggest you find a travel agent that has better customer support and after care and they are not just about getting your money.
