James Home of Tone is a fantastic business and I can always get the parts I need for my guitar projects, in this case a prewired harness for my Fender 50s Reissue P-Bass. The harness was really well-made with quality components, well-packaged and promptly dispatched, and (alongside new Fralin) pickups, was a great upgrade for my bass.

Great service! Very Knowledgeable and great attention to detail. I ordered a pre wired solderless harness. I found it really easy to follow the online instructions and fit. It came well packaged in really beautiful little box. A nice touch that I wasn’t expecting. My old guitar now sounds great.

I've ordered from here before. But I think it's worth noting my most recent experience.

For whatever reason, I somehow got very unlucky and had a faulty switch as part of a full wiring harness. A 1 in a million chance I'm sure. The customer support from James was absolutely fantastic, he walked me through troubleshooting and then after we figured out the problem, sent me 2 entirely separate switch harnesses just to make sure that the problem was solved.

This guy goes above and beyond, my guitar is absolutely incredible now. Jame's Home Of Tone is now my go to for any electrical components I need for my guitars. The stock is fantastic and the customer support is second to none

James’ wiring looms are terrific…I’ve built a les Paul and now rejigged a P Bass and the transformation in every aspect of the tone - depth, finesse, range, subtle control - for both the guitar and the bass have been immense. I cannot recommend his designs and build quality highly enough. Plus he is no 1 for friendly advice and consultation pre-purchase.

Always very helpful, James provided a treble bleed mod which works perfectly, was well put together and easy to fit. He always sells good quality kit and is incredibly helpful- always happy to give useful advice.
