The service has been down now for 5 days. Even the website isn’t loading. No notification, no reason, nothing. When it works is good, but when it’s not working, good luck because they don’t care. They will never respond or acknowledge anything. Total,cowboys.

Unable to log in

I log in with my email address and password and informed that I already have an account. I then sign up to log in and am then told no such account exists. I have used Hoolatv before so why am I not allowed into my account?

Hoola hackers or crafty small print? either way it's all a bit criminal

i used hoolatv trail period but never authorized any monthly subscriptions then somehow i started getting bills for x2 monthly hoolatv subscriptions, luckily i realised what was going on and cancelled payments through my paypal, so did hoolatv hack my paypal or maybe i missed a bit of small print?? either way i was not informed of these payments and maybe paypal is at fault as well but all the same I WOULD ADVISE EXTREME CAUTION AND DOUBLE CHECK SMALL PRINT...also there are free tv and movie sites online that are perfectly safe,all one has to do is search around but be careful and don't be affraid to learn a little

Hoola payment

So, been with Hoola a number of years, as I prefer them as cannot find another app with plus one channels on, but always a problem if card details change as near on impossible to contact WorldPay, so easier to subscribe again, until this time, ended up paying 3 times to subscribe as thought something was not working, they have taken 3 payments which they are denying, well, Hoola are as they keep telling me to contact World Pay, you simply cannot, now my subscription is still telling me awaiting activation, Hoola are saying activated their end, so, basically going around and around in circles and etting no help whatsoever, very frustrating, this has been going n nearly a month now!

Bunch of Thieving Cowboys

This company is nothing more than a bunch of cowboys, quite happy to take your money but not give you the service you paid for. They also NEVER respond to any customer support tickets or emails. Still waiting for a refund, but I doubt I'll ever see it. If you want a better choice, try Teeveeing, the service is much better with more channels. Would never recommend HoolaTV to anyone

This isn't a review as such

This isn't a review as such, but this afternoon I lost the volume on all Hoola channels at 12:30 Pacific Standard Time, WA state, U.S. It's not my computer or my headset as I have volume outside of Hoola. As a result, I missed two of my favorite shows. Did this happen to anyone else? Will the volume come back? Very frustrated. Grrrrrrr . . . .
The volume returned later that day so all is well. Still annoying though!

Subrcribe to it when went Turkey
27th May never worked kept freezing
Every 5min Useless gave up in End also WFI was good in Hotel so that wasn't the problem just Hoolatv
Then cancelled it well be b4 came Home never Answered any E-Mails
Then on Mon took out off my Bank Account another Payment Furious with them
After flooding them with Messages finally answered me
With Abrupt reply saying dont have any Complaints What??
Go on Trust Pilot Hoola TV see all Complaints only 1* I would given 0 if could
Reply said not got Customer Services
That goes on Network?? what sort Company are running I ask myself
So finally got my Money bck yesterday did notify my Bank put Block on them
I should read Bad Complaints on Trust Pilot b4 I Subrcribed lessen to be learnt
Never to use them again
Just Update after all the above happened took another Payment out on 3rd July
Had go all through it again with Bank then with them finally got Refund back what took out after telling them on numerous occasions to Cancelled the Subscription
Hopefully in August won't get charged again but not holding my Breath?? Has this going on since May
Don't touch this Company Nightmare!!

Terrible service. Big mistake subscribing.

I have tried at least 10 times (possible quite a few more) to contact them via email, their site, and their feedback, and facebook. They never answer.
I went a week recently where I could not access any of their programmes. I could not record anything or play any recordings. When the site came back all of my recordings came up with 'processing' and I am unable to watch them.
Over half the channels which I have paid for are unavailable and if I want to change from, for example, tv listings to recordings then the site freezes and I have to log out and wait for at least 10 minutes before it lets me log back in.
I made the mistake of paying for a year's subscription as it was cheaper. I now regret it as I cannot claim any of my money back.
I finally got someone on facebook to reply to me (5 days after leaving a message). Their first comment was 'what's up?' Not very professional.
I would recommend anybody wanting to use this platform to go elsewhere. I am stuck, unfortunately, because I will lose my money if I cancel.

What can say about Hoola😳

What can I say. Joined Hoolatv 48 hours ago and now the site seems to have CLOSED down😦.
Hoolatv has now resumed service 13/03/23 so rating increased to 3 stars

The initial 24hr trial went well

The initial 24hr trial went well. Now that I have signed up it has been less than useless. It seems you are passed to another server once you pay. Don't waste your time, trying to cancel is a bigger hassle.

Their servers are too fragile

This is an incredibly poor TV service (and website overall), where even just NAVIGATING around the website is enough to overload the servers and just not work. Want to go to the TV guide? Well, nope! It will just load for a long time before you get an error message saying "504 Gateway Time-out". My god, the amount of times I've gotten timeout errors on this website is phenomenal, to say the least. Sometimes, refreshing won't work, as you'll get to the same point, and then you'll get another error message saying "502 Bad Gateway". That then also appears on the main webpage and the whole website goes down!!!

Is this service really THAT neglected by its creators that they don't properly maintain this site and just leave it abandoned? Well that's what it seems like to me. Based on my experiences, I don't recommend HoolaTV at all, it's more of an exercise in futility, and extremely unreliable. You WILL run into the 504 Gateway Time-out error meaning you cannot access anything on this website. Steer very clear.

This is ridiculous!

This seemed like a good and robust TV service for watching on the go and online. I then decided to sign up to this service, and immediately I ran into the first issue. I have been waiting for hours upon hours upon end and they STILL haven't sent me a validation email! What the heck is going on with their registration?!

HoolaTV, if you're reading this, just know that you can't be expecting people to wait a ridiculous amount of time for you to send a validation email to register an account. They're going to give up hope and move to another TV service, which is what I've ended up doing.

In a nutshell, don't bother wasting your time with HoolaTV. Any attempts at all at registering won't result in you getting a validation email.
