Great charger works exactly as required. Fantastic product support, needed the unit to work as a stand alone and not with an app (multiple users) support dealt with the enquiry quickly and efficiently. Would recommend.
From the initial site surveys to the installation, Hydra have been great.
They kept us informed throughout the whole process. Great customer service.
We are currently using 5 x Zodiac 7kw chargers. Would highly recommend.
I am really happy. This is my first time I bought an EV charger. Really good service. The engineers were very nice chaps. The customer services are also very helpful. I would definitely recommend buying your EV charger from Hydra EV. Thanks for your service!🙂
Friendly engineer came to do the install. The hydra charger seems good quality and no issues to report so far.

Great charger, fitted really quickly and tidily. App is really useful and informative. It cuts off when the charge finishes and tells me exactly how much I've spent.

Excellent customer service, Jay helped us with a quality product and gave a step by step guide. Charger is very easy to use and simple to setup.
This is my first E V charger so I have nothing to compare it with but at the moment I am very happy with the product and would definitely recommend
Tried using the Hydra Genesis public charging station at Cranmore Centre, Solihull, none of the chargers will accept credit or debit cards

Reputable, local company with first-class customer service and after care. Installed Nexus chargers at several work locations with no issues as well as some home chargers.
Sometimes tech goes wrong and that's when you find out how good the supplier is. The customer service has been excellent and the problems experienced have been addressed promptly by the team at Hydra.
I would have reported five stars, but have dropped one because of the tech problems experienced.

What a shame, I’ve had 2 hydra ev home chargers replaced by this company. Although their customer support were friendly. They openly admitted that they were aware of faulty chargers being installed. Clearly I had 2, both times they were faulty after being replaced. This whole ordeal of replacing my faulty hydra charge with another faulty hydra charger lasted over a month. In that time it’s cost me countless times charging at public chargers and not to mention cost! I had no reimbursement from the company.
My advice is please don’t supply faulty chargers to paying customers.
Another annoying issue is that they tried to do an over air software updates first, which didn’t work at all.
I’d also advise anyone who’s looking for an ev charger to avoid Hydra and get a more reputable brand that works. I’m so happy now with my pod point it actually does what it’s supposed to do.

Everytime we try to adjust the daytime hours on the app it crashes on android. At the end of the day this just a large plug - the differences are in the apps which this one just does not work well. It should have been much easier than this!

Quick, tidy friendly install. Everyone at Hydra is so friendly and quick to respond to any queries and service calls. Can't fault the service; it is brilliant. Jay saw the project through from start to finish and is still checking in with us to see how we are doing!

As this is my first EV home charger, I have very little expectations or ways in which to compare this product to.
The box itself just works as it should. It has an inoffensive design and the basic illumination acts functionally and consistently.
I get a constant 6.8kwh charge so very close to the maximum it can supply. Charge times therefore are inline with stated estimates.
The app is fine. Although I would prefer a little more control in the way the display settings for the charging history are presented. I.e. being able to move back/forward a week/month by swiping left/right rather than having to specify a different date range.
Other than that. No complaints at all.
Would recommend.

Very easy to use charger, especially with the new App. Installation was easy to organise and far more straightforward than other companies I tried. Great customer service, I had a couple of questions after installation and Hydra team were very keen to help.
