I really like the quality

I really like the quality of the craft canvas shirt and jackets.

The customer service is really good and they have managed multiple exchanges for me when the fit wasnt right.

The quality is very high, I use them for everything.

Imperfects Every Day // A Liturgical Clothing Journey

I'm a Christian - and a while ago I was convicted of the poor working conditions of most of the workers who produce a majority of the clothing worn in the West. I don't want to contribute to that economy. So, I started dressing "liturgically" - meaning I wear one outfit for the duration of a liturgical season that is colored the same as the liturgical color. That's right. The same jacket, t-shirt, and pants every single day (don't worry, I wash em often enough!).

I'm not into fast fashion or cheap clothes. It's just not worth the human suffering that it costs. There's a great book called "Worn" by Sofi Thanhauser if you're interested in learning more.

The outfit I wear everyday of the year is a shepherds shirt and courier pants OG fit. I have four color ways of the same outfit. Currently I'm in the craft canvas color for Easter. Lent is black. Ordinary time is green. Advent is blue. Christmas is white, again.

Imperfects does great work and offers a quality product. Like I said, I literally wear your clothes every single day of the year.

Love these clothes, unisex, organic

Love these clothes! I wish they would model chicks on the website so other women could get down in the imperfects organic cotton. No issues with customer service or sizing!

Great service, fast response time

I had a fantastic experience with this brand. I purchased a Shepherds Shirt and love it. I had some initial questions about size and coloring that I wanted to ask prior to purchase, and I heard back from them within hours. I'll definitely be a returning customer!

Pants are mediocre. Price is high.

Pants are decent. Overpriced at $180 for canvas. Then charged $12.99 for shipping, and a $20.00 transaction fee. I wouldn't buy again.

Echoing prior reviews

Echoing prior reviews, processing and shipment was slow, sizing was at least 1/2 size off (medium jacket), and return policy was a total joke. Would not even do an exchange after 30 days (xmas present). Their marketing vibe is all Cali-cool-artisanal, while their customer service is BS big-box fine print. Buyer beware.

In this case, we couldn't facilitate an exchange as it was outside of our 30-day return policy.
Our 30-day exchange window is in place to make sure customers have a fair amount of time to receive and try their purchase, while also allowing us to keep inventory accurate and ensure returned items remain in good condition for other customers. This helps us maintain consistent pricing and product availability - we are genuinely such a small crew over here at Imperfects and it is impossible for us to provide the type of returns policies that huge companies like Amazon do!

The Name Says it All -- Imperfects

This independent San Diego apparel brand has a lot of appeal: utilitarian design, quality materials, a distinctive logo and identity. Unfortunately, the brand name proves prophetic — Imperfects.

Sizing is wildly inconsistent. Although I am usually true-to-size, the pants in my order were oversized in the waist, leg, and length, while a T-shirt from the same order ran extremely small. The discrepancies made it impossible to determine whether sizing down or switching styles would fix the issue.

When I reached out to customer support for help, nobody was home. Multiple emails went unanswered, with no guidance available on fit, sizing, or next steps. Additionally, Imperfects charges a $40 fee to process refunds, even when items do not fit as expected. Rather than supporting the customer, Imperfects places responsibility for their sizing issues on the customer, with its “some of your money back” guarantee and refund policy.

Delivery was also slower than expected, taking nine days from order placement to in-state delivery. Combined with the inconsistent sizing and nonexistent support, the overall experience was disappointing and, well, imperfect.
Most similar brands cover return shipping when an item doesn’t fit but Imperfects imposes a substantial refund fee, the most onerous I’ve encountered with any online retailer. Exchanging items in hopes of a better fit, when they get around to sending you your order, feels risky. I won’t be returning to Imperfects. The name says it all.

Suspect quality and service

Bought a shirt and pair of their courier pants, loved both but the pants basically fell apart after less than a year.

There is a metal buckle in the back that snapped (had to sew a fix) and a few months later the entire inseam just ripped wide open. No response from support

Zero Customer Service

The clothes are made well, the tag says in China. The fit is inaccurate. To return or even exchange anything is impossible. You wait weeks for someone to return an email, if they do at all. Then communication is ten back and forths at least because your question isn't actually read. There is no phone number. On their return portal there is no spot to return for money back) only store credit). The return fee is exorbitant, like $40.

absolute joke of a company and dare i say actually fraudulent. selling clothes that are not even close to standard sizing and then having no refunds, a handling fee for all returns and not paying for the shipment back. would never shop again and advise staying away

Only make a purchase if you are certain about the product. They have a zero return policy. I can’t even get someone to talk to to discuss other options. After an initial email asking about a possible return, I have been ghosted. They won’t return my emails.

Really disappointing return policy. They sell clothes online which you can’t try on and won’t give you a monetary refund when clothes don’t fit. Very poor customer service. Hold your money hostage. Don’t buy things from them

Terrible customer service and…

Terrible customer service and overpriced clothing. They make clothes that are so far from standard sizing it isn't even funny. On top of that they have a store credit only return policy. The quality is not worth the cost and hassle.
