Small Group Training
For the past few months I have been attending the small group training sessions with Pippa in her gym. Her professional and motivational approach have given me back my confidence and determination to push myself with my fitness. Pippa has patiently taught me correct and safe techniques when exercising and I have now the drive and better experience to push myself more in the classes and also at home. I cannot thank Pippa enough for all her help and guidance with fitness as well as diet, and so look forward to the friendly group sessions I take part in. Every session is tailored to individuals needs and I now feel so much stronger and determined to get myself fitter. I really recommend small group training to anyone who wishes to improve their fitness. It has taught me so much.
A fabulous PT instructor
A fabulous PT instructor. I hate exercise but Pippa gets me going back each week. This is an achievement. Kind thoughtful with me and the centre. I have dropped a dress size and now suffer with no back pain.

Pippa is extremely dedicated and passionate about her role as a trainer and I cannot thank her enough for what she does.
I started with Pippa in her circuit training classes back in Autumn 2021, I had a break in 2023 whilst I was pregnant and came back in Autumn 2024 to a bigger group than when I left which in itself shows how much people enjoy her sessions. Pippa creates such a welcoming environment, every session is different and well thought out. Everyone within the Improvfit ‘community’ are so enthusiastic and encouraging.
As well as doing 3 circuit sessions a week, I now do a small group PT session once a week which has been the best decision I’ve made, Pippa tailors each training programme based on each individual’s own personal abilities and each week we are all seeing such an improvement in our form, strength and confidence.
Best coach ever!
I’ve been training with Pippa at her group circuit classes for just under 2 years now and it has totally transformed my attitude to fitness.
Aswell as continuing with 2 group classes a week (which have never been the same twice since I started!), I have recently joined her small group PT sessions. Pippa empowers and encourages me to push my body beyond what I ever thought it was capable of and I’ve never felt better for it. It’s been really rewarding to work with a small group of ladies on the same journey, all working at different levels and abilities but all succeeding with our own personal goals with Pippas amazing guidance. The level of support we receive both in and even outside of the class in regards to technique, form and even nutrition are very much appreciated.
My goal when first starting 2 years ago was to get my old “pre baby” body back and I thought that cardio and calorie deficit would be the only way but Improvfit has totally changed my outlook on that and I’m now the strongest both physically and mentally I’ve ever been.
An incredible PT!
Pippa is an incredible personal trainer. From the moment I first spoke to her I knew I was starting on an awesome journey, that I wouldn't ever want to stop. She took the time to understand what I wanted to achieve and has consistently tailored my plan to me. My body has changed so much since I started. I feel healthier both physically and mentally; overall the best I've felt about myself in a long time. I love my 1-2-1 PT sessions and always come away feeling empowered. Pippa is motivational, understanding and inspiring - she is always there if I have questions and she checks in regularly to see how I'm doing with nutrition, steps and other agreed action points outside of our sessions. Pippa has also taught me a lot about nutrition and how to fuel my body appropriately - this has made a big difference in respect of recovery and results. I also attend her circuit classes once a week which are so much fun. Would highly recommend!
Lower back pain gone!
Honestly the best exercise class I’ve ever done… and I’ve done a lot! I’ve truly stuck at this when initially in search for that ‘wedding body’ and thought I’d give it a try. I really look forward to it each week, it’s been great for both my body & mind. I previously suffered with years of lower back pain, even Pilates & yoga couldn’t get rid of it but since doing Pippa’s circuit classes I have seen a huge difference, the pain has gone and have never felt stronger.
Pippa is a fantastic teacher, full of enthusiasm & passion, she was born to be a PT!

Brilliant!
Pippa is absolutely brilliant. From day one she has formulated a careful and well thought out plan to get my fitness and nutrition back on track. As someone who has been hit and miss with progress over the last 20 years she has got in a much better place consistently, providing expert guidance and personable accountability.
Total game changer
Under Pippa’s expert instruction, unfailing enthusiasm and personal attention my body shape has completely changed. I feel fitter and have far more energy. I couldn’t squat sit or press up when I started and now am able to slam 10kg balls and squat with 12kg weights. Every lesson is different and she spends time with each and every one of us correcting our form and offering encouragement. Everyone needs Pippa in their lives!
Circuits Review
Pippa is incredibly knowledgable and supportive. She knows how to challenge her members whilst being considerate of individuals needs. Sessions are varied and fun, we always come away laughing even after having worked hard! Improvfit circuit sessions have been a great addition to my week!

Life Changing PT
I decided to start PT with Pippa because I wanted to get fitter and look better. Pippa is not only incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent PT but she is also dedicated to inspiring her clients achieve their goals. My PT and circuit training sessions are fun and rewarding and that sense of achievement keeps me going back - the first time I have ever stuck at any form of exercise. There are also huge benefits mentally with a great sense of well being and feeling of achievement which has helped me improve my time management and get more done in a day. I can definitely recommend Improvfit

Improvfit classes.
I joined Improvfit two years ago when I wanted to improve my stamina, strength and overall fitness.
I immediately felt welcomed to the group and well supported by Pippa who, although she plans the same exercises for us all, helps us each to tailor our workout according to our ability. This is so important as we are all different ages and have different levels of fitness and experience.
I’ve not always felt confident in my ability to exercise but feel comfortable and supported in Pippa’s classes. She never pushes any of us beyond our capabilities but always gently nudges us towards our personal goals helping us to feel confident and proud of our achievements.
It’s great feeling part of the Improvfit community, there’s no competitiveness or judgement among us members, we all support each other.
Since beginning classes I feel much stronger physically in particular my core and arms, I feel so good after classes it’s a great feeling being able to achieve so much more than I ever thought possible.

Fantastic PT/Fitness Sessions
I have been working 1:1 with Pippa since December when realising I needed to make some changes in my life. Pippa not only provides a great PT session in which she is so encouraging and supportive, she also supports with nutrition guidance. In three months I feel so much better both physically and mentally, I am stronger, fitter and my body shape has changed. All the guidance is about making small changes and the right choices which after a while become second nature. I also attend Pippa's group session on a Saturday which is good fun and caters for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.

ImPRovfit Classes
I have been going to Pippa's circuit classes for over 2 years. She is a brilliant and supportive instructor who always motivates everyone in the class. The circuits vary with each class which means it never feels repetitive. Pippa also ensures the weights/equipment available are suitable for everyone's needs so you are always able to challenge yourself with her support throughout your fitness journey. I would recommend the classes to anyone new to circuits and weights, as well as those who want to continue and develop their training.

Great PT Experience
Pippa is an amazing PT.
She has a holistic approach to training - her knowledge is wide ranging so not only does she provide training for fitness but also advises on dietary requirements and mental health.
For me Pippa has been a great support not only with weight loss but also the challenges of the menopause.
I would personally recommend Pippa for PT and/or a group session.

Brilliant classes and supportive community
I never thought that I would be happy to spend a Saturday morning in the pouring rain swinging a kettlebell but that’s how much I love Pippa’s classes. She is so motivating and encouraging that I have pushed myself out of my comfort zone and found a new way to keep fit and active.
The 8.15 Saturday morning crew are a group of such lovely people of all ages, shapes and sizes and levels of fitness - everyone is so supportive of each other and there’s always a lot of laughter. The class every week is entirely different which keeps us all motivated and engaged. Pippa is not only a brilliant PT and fitness instructor but she also has built up a fantastic and inclusive community, with pub walks in the summer and a Christmas party. I wholeheartedly recommend Pippa and Improvfit.

Inspiring sessions
New to the village I joined Pippa’s Improvfit class for fitness and friendship. I enjoyed the class from the very first time I attended.
Pippa inspires us constantly as a group no matter the weather! Her commitment to us as a group, and individually, is second to none and she always has our physical and mental well-being at the heart of all she does. She’s also very community spirited and focussed.
Each week is different with exercises designed for all abilities and there’s a real sense of achievement at the end of each session. Pippa’s keen to educate on good technique; focussing a lot on quality of effort rather than quantity. There’s never any expectation or judgement from anyone; just a mixed group of those wanting to keep fit within a welcoming and friendly environment.
I particularly like the team warm-up activities and the fact that there’s great variation meaning no chance of getting bored! I’m really pleased I took the step to give it a go, despite not initially knowing anyone locally.

Improvfit - just do it
I'm now well into bus pass territory and until the last few years I had never really regularly exercised. Now I go to two of Pippa's classes every week.
It's certainly made a difference to how I feel - recovery the next day is so much better going twice a week. I cycle a bit and the classes certainly help with that. I feel it's helped with my posture as I get a lot less back pain since I started. Not sure how it's made me look - I will let others be the judge of that.
And its great to be out on the rec looking at the view and the sky a couple of times each week. Even in the winter you know that it's worth it and that it'll be light evenings soon enough.
Pippa is so creative - every week she comes up with a new set of exercises, there's always something different so you never get bored or complacent. And she is very attentive to everyone's needs and abilities - she really watches and listens so everyone is catered for, doing the exercises correctly and not overdoing it. Or underdoing it. And she has with enough authority to make sure you get on with it!
No matter my mood or whatever the weather, I was always finish every session feeling mentally better than I did at the beginning.

Fantastic Fitness Sessions
I used to walk my dog past Pippa’s classes and think I really should be doing some exercise like that. I started with an introductory class late last year and I’ve now committed to attending three sessions a week! Each session is different, which is testament to Pippa’s dedication to providing the very best fitness for all. Thanks to her guidance, I’ve noticed significant improvements in my strength and overall fitness. Pippa’s approach is very personalised; she encourages us to work at our own pace and is always on hand with supportive advice on how to improve.
