Excellent product and expetience
Infinity Renewables were the first company (of six) that I contacted with regards to considering a solar power installation and requesting a quote as I had done some considerable research beforehand. I simply filled in a request quote form on their website and I was contacted by Rory. I explained to him that I was unsure as to whether we would actually have solar at all and, if we did, I was planning to speak to 5 other companies, so it may well be that we did not place an order with him, but once I had received all the information and made an informed decision I would contact all companies and advise them accordingly. I found Rory really easy to speak to, very informative and helpful. Their quote came in the middle of our budget range (£8k - £14k) and as soon as I came off the phone I said to my wife, “ they’re the ones to beat, good knowledge, filled me with confidence, great warranties ( the ONLY company to provide 15 year warranties on their Inverter and Batteries) and most of all not ‘pushy’. Safe to say that their quote was not the cheapest, but their products and service offering was by far the best of those companies I spoke to. Everything was given a timescale, which was agreed and delivered and in all, Rory and the team who support him ( surveyor, scaffolders, roof fitters, electrician and customer service) have been brilliant, can’t thank them enough, the whole experience has been stress free. I have to say that on the day of installation the EV charger was not available for fitting and all is in hand and I am confident that it will be dealt with with the same level of professionalism and competence that we have already experienced.

Would have given 5 stars but the Support team lets them down.
I wanted to give 5 stars as the installation team were professional, on time, deployed and tested a very neat installation, left everything tidy, explained all I needed to know and were very knowledgeable and friendly.
However, the support side of the business is not in the same league unfortunately. At no time was it explained to me that the MCS certificate and DNO letter would take 4-6 weeks, meaning I am unable to take advantage of my dual battery installation and AI to get the most favourable overall cost of electricity (buying, selling and storing). A very curt email from Georgia informed me of this wait when I politely asked for the documents.
It is now over 6 weeks and I haven’t received a single document. Not even anything confirming what was installed and that it was satisfactorily tested. Also, my only question sent to the sales representative was never replied to.
I am, however, delighted with my 18 panel plus dual battery system and can thoroughly endorse solar as a mature and efficient solution.

That said, I’m very sorry to hear about your experience with our support process and the frustration caused by delays in receiving your documentation. We completely understand how important the MCS certificate and DNO approval are in allowing you to fully optimise your system, particularly when it comes to export, storage, and tariff benefits.
To clarify, all DNO applications and MCS submissions are initiated by our team at the point of contract signing, well ahead of installation. We also have multiple dedicated members of staff whose role is to actively chase and progress these applications with the relevant bodies. Following installation, your system is technically audited and signed off in-house by our MCS-qualified electrical and roofing supervisors, typically within 24 hours.
However, while we manage and push these processes as proactively as possible, the final certification and approvals are issued externally by the DNO and MCS bodies themselves. Unfortunately, their processing timeframes—often quoted as 4–6 weeks—are outside of our direct control, and delays can occasionally extend beyond this despite our continued efforts to expedite them.
That said, we absolutely take on board your comments regarding communication. You should have been clearly informed of these timelines from the outset, and we apologise that this wasn’t explained properly or followed up with the level of service you expected. This is something we are actively reviewing internally to ensure better clarity and responsiveness moving forward.
We truly appreciate your recommendation of solar and your positive feedback about our installation team, and we hope to restore your confidence in the support side of our service as well. If you would like, I’d be happy to personally look into the status of your documentation and provide an update.

I first spoke to James after enquiring into one of their ads, he took everything I needed onboard and guided me through the process building a system that would cover all of my home’s needs.
The installation team showed up when they said. All of them were polite and courteous of our home finishing the installation in just 2 days
Since going live we’ve already seen a massive decrease in our bills and we haven’t even hit summer yet!

I purchased a solar battery from this company.
The electricians came across the country to install it . I was worried about being able to understand how to use it The electricians Connor and Lewis were so helpful and patient and took time to find the place I could site it. They worked efficiently throughout the day and gave time to answering all my questions The monitoring app was clearly explained and time given for me to work it out on my own.
They were pleasant, polite and were respectful of the property. I thoroughly commend their workmanship

Connection problems
It was rather frustrating as my system wasn't charging the batteries I was taken through things step by step starting with a system shut down and restart. Next the growatt box wouldn't talk to the system and then the box wouldn't connect to the server. Jake Hays was more than helpful he went that extra mile asking for screen shots of the menus I'd got into (menus I didn't know existed especially after spending 3 hours on the computer with Vodafone). After checking them out he got back to me as he'd spotted the switch for the growatt server was off work he sent me detailed instructions on how to rectify it. The instructions were reasonably easy to follow and the problem was rectified. Thanks.

Be careful which ‘experts’ you trust….
Where to start? Initial impression were great and Josh was extremely helpful in putting together our quote and talking us through anticipated gains. The Bexie system also sounded impressive given comparable specs to other market leading gear. Absolutely no video reviews of the brand which was a little concerning but not off putting. Problems began when things progressed to discussing installation….
Our is a flat (5 degree pitch) TPO membrane roof on a fully timber built eco style property. This was disclosed at the outset as we figured it would be the main difficulty but we’re assured by Josh that they were experts and had dealt with such roofs before and that a ballasted system would be the best. A survey was booked.
Between the quote and initial survey I began digging deeper and discovered that a ballasted system should not be installed on a pitch such as ours and is really only suitable for up to 3 degrees, beyond which you risk the array slipping off in wind/ice. The fact that this hadn’t been flagged by these ‘solar experts’ raised a red flag so I started looking into other mounting systems myself.
To be fair to Des who later conducted the survey, I cannot fault him. He made the round trip in truly atrocious winter conditions and despite not being able to access the roof due to snow, was entirely understanding of our concerns and was extremely thorough looking at, measuring and discussing what he could. He admitted he’s no expert in mounting solutions but would ensure everything was passed on to someone who was. Truly a star on the day and a credit to Infinity, work ethic is strong in this one!
Unfortunately things went downhill after that.
We were put in touch with their lead installer Jordan, who talked us through our options and initially seemed very understanding of our concerns and keen to help. By then I’d done a good deal of research into other potential mounting systems myself and despite him only having worked with one, I forwarded all the relevant contacts and information of others for him to follow up on order to get comparative pricing for us. These included EJOT Bar and Soprasolar mounting systems.
Many weeks went past with minimal contact or any indication that he was getting close to establishing the comparative costs I’d requested. Then, we get an email out of the blue from our initial contact Josh, saying the most suitable system had been chosen, pricing updated and they were ready do proceed to install if we could agree a date once the updated quote had been signed. I replied simply asking to see the comparisons which had informed this and Josh again was promptly assuring that he’d get back to me when he’d checked with Jordan. At that point Infinity had only quoted for a ballasted mount which was now clearly not viable and the Nicholson system they’ve used before at £150 per panel of which we had 18! Hence my wanting to double check costs on the other systems I’d established to be suitable through my own research.
More weeks passed with no communication until an email arrived saying that Infinity had now deemed the project too complicated and costly and wouldn’t be proceeding! They offered to provide more clarity so I responded asking that they did but that they first put me in touch with a director to discuss this as I wasn’t impressed with their performance to date. More weeks have now passed and I’ve emailed since but with literally no response.
Infinity were our sole chosen provider after a lot of research but when it became clear that ours was a property that wasn’t straight forward, it was me who did all the research into alternatives and put them in touch with others in the industry. They are the ones claiming to be experts! As a layman this cost me a huge amount of time and it’s beyond disappointing to see that they did nothing with the info I provided beyond revert back to the only system they knew and claiming without evidence that this was the best option for us.
Make what you will of the situation. Personally, my trust in this outfit is long gone. They clearly have some great staff on the sales and survey side but beyond that I don’t think they possess the solar roof expertise to which they claim. They can certainly talk the talk but delivery is a different story and integrity is questionable.
Infinity Renewables strung us along for months and despite saying they were ready to install one week, suddenly decided it wasn’t viable the next?! The only thing that changed in between was my asking for the evidence they’d done their due diligence. I think their silence speaks for itself.

Early Dec - first contact
6 Jan - surveyor visit (snowy 12 hr round trip!)
2 Feb - Message received requesting install date ‘now that everything was finalised’
24 Feb reply - location is the issue.

To clarify, the issue was not that we are incapable of installing on this type of roof. We do install on TPO membrane roofs, including low pitch systems, where the structural design, fixing method and ongoing support requirements are commercially viable.
Following the survey and internal technical review, the combination of roof pitch, system size and required fixing method meant that mechanical fixing into the roof structure would likely have been required rather than relying purely on ballast. On a membrane roof of this scale, that introduces long term inspection, warranty and maintenance considerations.
We are a fully in house installer with specialist teams and are one of the few companies able to offer a 10 year workmanship warranty. Being family owned and operating without subcontracted labour means we retain full responsibility for the systems we install, including long term aftercare.
Your property being over 600 miles from our operational HQ was a significant factor. For a technically sensitive installation of this type, distance directly impacts our ability to provide the level of ongoing support, responsiveness and oversight that forms part of our workmanship warranty.
