Poignant gift

I wasn't able to upload my picture so sent an email with an attachment that the company were able to work from. I received a phone call with a query and everything was resolved quickly and smoothly. The order was placed late afternoon on a Thursday and delivered on the Saturday. My bracelet is beautiful and very poignant.

This is my 4th purchase, I was so pleased with the bracelets but sadly the photo etched on this one is not very good at all. It is such a shame because I will be reluctant to Order anything else now

Would Recommend

Very quick dispatch and delivery. Engraving was well done and the overall item was as described. Included in the package was a tea bag with a little note to take a minute for yourself, which I thought was a lovely touch.
Would recommend.

Really disappointing

I’m really unhappy with my personalised engraved photo dog tag necklace. It was meant to be a thoughtful, special gift, but it arrived with several scratches and the image is only clear in certain lighting and at certain angles because of the “dot” effect used to create the picture.

I was sent three replacements and every single one had the same issue. Nothing was actually improved. When I said I didn’t want a fourth replacement and asked for a refund instead, I was told “these dots form the detail and shading of the image.” This was never mentioned in the product description before ordering, and no one explained this during any of the earlier customer service conversations — only once I asked for my money back.

They are refusing any form of refund.

Customer service also came across as argumentative rather than helpful, which you can see from their replies to other negative reviews too.

Overall, just a really disappointing experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear how disappointed you feel, especially when the necklace was intended to be such a meaningful gift.

We would like to gently clarify the photo engraving process, as this can sometimes be unfamiliar. All photo engravings are created using a dot pattern, which forms the detail, shading, and contrast of the image. This is what allows a photograph to be faithfully recreated on metal. Without this technique, the engraving would appear as a solid dark shape without visible features. This finish is reflected in the product images shown on our website, which are intended to give an accurate representation of how photo engravings appear.

Each image is carefully reviewed before production to ensure it is suitable and will produce a clear, recognisable result. Every piece is also hand-finished and polished before dispatch. Occasionally, very fine polishing marks can be visible under certain lighting, which are part of the finishing process rather than scratches or damage.

As you experienced, we were more than happy to provide replacements to support you and ensure you were comfortable with your piece. The final replacement was produced in line with our quality standards, with the additional replacement being arranged following your feedback regarding the orientation, so that this better matched your preference.

While we always want our customers to love their jewellery, we are unable to offer refunds on items that have been correctly produced and meet our quality standards. However, we hope it was clear throughout that our priority was to support you and do what we could to help.

We are very grateful that our service is so often described positively by our customers, and we are truly sorry if our communication did not feel as reassuring as it should have. It is always our intention to assist with care and understanding.

We are genuinely sorry that this experience has left you feeling disappointed, and we do appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
