I asked for a callback appointment which took place today. I had heard about the offshore call centers and when the young girl called my heart sank.
I wanted to discuss an Implantable Loop Recorder that my wife has been fitted with. I asked the lady if she knew what this was and she said she did but it was obvious that she didn't have any idea.
She went to discuss it with someone else who obviously didn't have a clue either.
I've heard nothing since even though i was promised an email from them.
I find it sad that a company that specialises in medical insurance conditions can employ people like this.
ILRs are common devices to monitor heart rhythm over several years and several were fitted to other patients on the same day as us.
