Inventr.io kit is amazing
The experience is sincerely incredible. I am going through the journey with my son and I found it as a great mix between fun and science. Since we are working together on Scratch (school homework), it is great to have such an experience linking programming and electronics. I am so glad to have found a way to strengthen our dad-son relationship! Thank you.

Engaging and fun experience
This course provided an engaging method to learn code while working towards a fun goal. The pacing of the course enabled the users to go as fast or slow as they needed. I recommend they expand the videos to include optional more technical content and perhaps include topics like integrating Servos to dock with the mother ship.
Small company, good experience
I am under the impression this is a small company. With that as context I am really impressed with what they are putting together. I think the original theme and the introductory video rate 5 stars.
I think that the fulfillment is about 3 1/2 stars. The lessons depart from the theme just a little bit. The theme adds gamification but the videos require extra imagination. I think there is a lot of room for improvement here, but haven’t seen anyone else capitalize on the opportunity. I would love to see inventr improve here. I would still buy the product in the current iteration.
I did have the opportunity to work with customer service and did work with real people. Overall good experience. I am glad I had the opportunity to run into Inventr and have suggested it to others.
Love the course, but honour the story
Barely halfway through it and having a lot of fun with the '30 Days in Space' kit! As someone relatively new to electronics, I found that some fundamentals were skipped in learning about the components (Why do I need a 120 ohm resistor for a LED? Why not a 2200 ohm? etc).
The only disappointment is that the lessons undermine the marketing. I bought the kit because of the title. You can get electronic kits everywhere, but you don't often get a story - that's what roped me in.
While I fully acknowledge that '30 Days in Space' is all pretend, I wanted to participate in the story as much as learning to write sketches and build circuits. You had a suspension of disbelief expert, Robert Picardo, helping you launch this course! Leverage a little drama, and this course will REALLY fly.
Such a great program
Such a great program. Loving doing this with my son. He's learnt so much.

Good and bad - spoiler. They broke trust
Good: video lessons are good. They might be corny but they work in an adult education model to provide a high amount of retention of information
Bad: support. I’ve emailed this company three times about a missing part. They said it was in the mail. It’s been 3 months and I haven’t received it. They finally quit communicating with me. I feel ignored I bought the part I needed to continue the lessons but it was a bitter pill to swallow. I will not do business with them ever again. They broke trust.
update (01/31/21) - I received a replacement in the mail today. While the company did make good on fulfilling and provided an apology however, this does not excuse bad service. This company still broke trust. I still will not do business with them. Whether you think this reaction is too harsh or justified matters not. I present the truth of the situation so you can judge for yourself and make a value decision for yourself.
Teenage boys voluntarily educating themselves is a clear marker of success...
I purchased the 30 Days Lost in Space kit for my 15 year old son. He'd always shown an interest in electronics (asembling his own drones primarily) and I thought this would provide a good introduction into coding for him. I am happy to say that he is excited by the projects and has embraced the 30 day program. Your kit has achieved all that I could have hoped for him. I have subsequently purchased a second kit for my other son...having seen how much fun his brother was having he now wants to get in on the action.
Many thanks Austin...it's always hard to compete for time in a teenage boys life having to go up against socialising and online time gaming. The fact that both of my boys are, of their own volition, willing to commit time to an educational activity is a marker of success for your program.

Unique, fun, and friendly
The Adventure Kit: 30 Days Lost in Space from InventrKits has been a lot of fun! While there are some slightly rough edges, it is a one-of-a-kind approach to learning electronics and Arduino programming. I've been worth with my middle-school-aged nephew on it via video call and we've been having a lot of fun! The community built around InventrKit products is friendly, as well, and there are many people who offer up helpful advice or even creative motivation to beginners and novices.

quality products
quality products, shipped quickly, good support, entertaining tutorials. could use more optional detail about the math and electronics theories involved, but overall very worth the money.

The best robotics education company out there!
I've spent the past few years looking to learn robotics online as a hobby. All I could find was crappy tutorials on YouTube mixed with the occasional guide here and there. Inventr brings it all together by simplifying the process for a beginner, like myself, to streamline my learning process. With my kit came 30 days of challenges that are easy to follow! Fast shipping as well

Great product
Great product. Videos are well done and the projects are well defined. I didn't receive a photoresistor in my order, however, and the part didn't appear on the parts list. I ordered additional components online through Amazon to replace it and I'm content now. But not having the part did impact my schedule doing the course. I appreciate all your work on this.
Only half way through the lessons so far.
Only half way through the lessons. I bought this planning on making a project that was of interest to me, but I felt was out of reach. I have no coding background, but lots of electronics and hardware background. I figured I had no chance.
I learned a few things, and I was off. I've now created two iterations of my project, and now (while it's not finished) am wondering how to incorporate more functionality in it!
I'm hoping my son picks up on this just to learn that this stuff exists and possibly to use it to solve an issue in the future.
I'm now planning on more arduino projects, such as connecting my CNC router machine to it - ditching the parallel control so I can use up to date PCs and software.

Newbie to circuits, grizzled veteran coder
Although I have been coding for decades, this is my first foray into the world of circuits and basic robotics. The 30 Days in Space kit and associated tutorial videos were informative, fun, and a great place to start this cool, new hobby. There were, however, some hiccups along the way though. This is a new company and it shows. There were some problems with incomplete kits and tutorial videos that had some errors in them. However, the people at Inventr have been very responsive and are correcting everything that gets pointed out. For every complaint that I may have had initially, I have been more than satisfied with the corrections. Their kits and the tutorials have been a great place to start and have provided a really good foundation in this really interesting new hobby. A whole new world of opportunity has been revealed through this simple kit.

Inventr Offers A Supportive and Honest Experience
When I came across the promotion for 30 Days Lost In Space on Facebook, my first instinct was ya right, another scam. But it haunted me for days because it really appealed to both me and my curiosity. I decided that it wasn't a lot of money to invest after all, so I bought the kit and hoped it would be quite fun. It started out with a hitch for me because I had a few problems to sort out. This is when I learned how helpful the inventr Facebook group are and how fast they respond to questions and problems. I reported a parts issue to customer support, and in a short time, after some Q & A, my problem was sorted out to my satisfaction and great relief that Inventr is very honest and responsible to their customers. I've been having great fun with this kit and recommend it as a very good entry-level into robotics/electronics.

Good value, needs supplements
The 30 Days Lost In Space kit is a pretty fun starter kit for the price. The lessons contain some interesting instruction, though I think they leave much to be desired in terms of scripting, sound balancing, and video editing -- they seem to have been done in one take with no script, which implies certainly no editing. They could be a lot tighter and more professional.
Learn few more about how to programs

Disappointed in customer service
I ordered 2 Adventure Kits, a Mega Kit, a Shields Pack, and a 37 Sensor Kit. The package came missing the sensor kit. I contacted customer support and requested the sensor kit. I was told to take a photo of what I received and send it back. Time passes with no response from customer service but eventually a second package arrives with the sensors. In the meantime, I discover that one of the adventure kits is missing LEDs and that the mega kit's power supply is the EU type, not the US type. Once again I contacted customer service. I was told to take a photo of the parts in the adventure kit, and I was told that the EU power supply was standard. Geez guys! LEDs are cheap and not worth the trouble, and since had I compared the two kits and the parts list from the website, I knew what was missing. And I certainly don't understand why the company would ship an incompatible power supply. At that point, I just gave up. Now, on the plus side, I'm glad that the kits that I received had the missing photoresistors taped to the package. I had posted a short explanation of my problem on the users' FB page, hoping that maybe someone from the company would read it and contact me. That didn't happen. I moderate a world-wide youth hobbyist engineering FB page/group and I removed my recommendation of the kits. So, there it is. I've learned to like the kits but the video lessons are not very well done and very confusing at times, and I'm a retired computer engineer/programmer with an MSc in Computer Science who has taught university computer courses.
The kits are great and a good value
The kits are great and a good value. The lessons are a bit hit or miss for my kids but there were several that they really loved working on.
