Brought a new product (dehumidifier) and was delivered a used second hand product. No where was it described as second hand or used or refurbished . Left feeling very disappointed. I have ordered a replacement elsewhere from a reputable retailer .
I have sent them an email with pics and I am awaiting to see how they deal with this .

Apology accepted for poor delivery / non-delivery. Refund received. Still very inconvenient and the service should have been better. Maybe change your delivery company? They made a complete hash of it.

We are sincerely sorry that you did not receive your order as expected.
Unfortunately, the parcel experienced issues within DPD's network and was ultimately returned to us. Upon inspection, it had sustained damage in transit and was not in a condition we felt was acceptable to send on to a customer, so we immediately issued a full refund.
Whilst DPD generally provide an excellent service, this shipment fell well below both our expectations and yours. Throughout the process, we remained in contact at every stage via both email and telephone, proactively providing updates as soon as new information became available and working closely with the courier to resolve the issue on your behalf.
We fully appreciate the frustration this situation caused and apologise again for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience whilst we worked to bring the matter to a resolution.

Coil of cable arrived on time with sufficient tracking and well packed. Staff helpful to check and alert delivery side of minor address error this avoiding incorrect delivery.

OK, so I had never used this company before, I placed my order on 30th Dec and chose "Express Delivery" paying £4.99 for the service...I didn't expect to see my order until early new year because of the festivities, and they were not displaying opening times on their website for the Xmas period.
After hearing nothing of my order by the 6th Jan (not even an order confirmation) I messaged customer services, you can only email them, they don't have a phone number, I promptly got a reply apologising and saying they could not give me a tracking number and the item would be delivered on 12th, on the 14th I messaged again to say it hadn't been delivered, again they replied the same day saying they could not supply tracking but it would be delivered the next day and they re-funded my £4.99 delivery fee, it was finally delivered on the 17th Jan, and came directly from the manufacturer with Royal Mail 24 tracked delivery.... and the label showed it was only posted on 16th Jan... So the reason they couldn't give me any tracking info was it hadn't even been sent yet and they were re-selling items they do not stock and had no control over the postage or delivery, so although their customer service agent replied promptly and refunded my postage he lied to me about the items true delivery status.

We’d like to reassure you that our customer service team did not intentionally provide incorrect information. At the time of your emails, the order was with the manufacturer and tracking details are only issued once the item is physically dispatched. The delivery estimates we provided were based on the information available to us at that point.
That said, we fully accept that the timescales given were too optimistic and that our communication could have been clearer. As soon as it became clear the express service could not be met, your delivery charge was refunded in full.
Thank you again for your feedback, which is helping us improve transparency around dispatch and delivery going forward.
