Sent a parcel to Canada with Irish Parcels. Pick up and delivery were perfect.
My complaint is that on the day of delivery I received 3 texts one minute apart stating I need to pay further charges or they would add additional fees at the destination door. No invoice, no mention what these fees were for. Just pay. There was no duty as parcel was a gift and worth €25. The extra fees were about the same amount as the original cost for delivery. I paid and then contacted Irish Parcels to ask for an invoice so I know what these charges are for. Absolutely no interest. Reply was, nothing to do with them. Contact the delivery company. Still no info.
Will not use again.

Excellent service , this is my second time using this company and will definitely be using them to deliver two more boxes to Australia for Xmas . Very helpful on the phone from start to finish, highly recommended, customer service excellent!

Damaged my parcel and customer service in a robot manner refused to compensate me saying it must not have been packaged properly, even worse was the part broken was strong and made form 30mm aluminium.
Couldn't be broken unless it fell or was thrown from a height.
Should be made compensate for their careless negligence so I had to put up an appropriate review.
Iv had to refund the customer and I'm out another €20 for this company to damage my item to an extent it's now unusable and worthless.
Thanks for that.

A SCAM!
Do not use Irish Parcels, ignore any positive reviews you read here, they're probably false.
They didn't show up for the pick up I had arranged and paid for even thought their online tracker said the parcel had been picked up and cleared customs.
I arranged for another pick up which they also didn't show up for.
There was no mention in the booking of customs fees so even if they had picked up my parcel I would've had to have paid far more then I did when booking.
Luckily they did refund me when I cancelled but avoid avoid avoid!

I shipped a brand new Philips coffee machine worth €500, including insurance. Unfortunately, UPS lost my package — which can happen. At first, I wasn’t too worried since I had taken out insurance. Their communication was decent (which is why I still gave 2 stars), but it took them 2–3 weeks before they officially confirmed the package was lost.

The real problem came with the insurance. I was told I had to file a claim within 6 days of their first email stating the package might be lost. They did mention this in that email, but I overlooked it — my mistake. Still, I find this rule unreasonable. What’s the point of insurance if you only have 2 days to act, long before the loss is even confirmed?

In my case, UPS continued investigating for weeks, yet the deadline for my claim had already expired. That simply doesn’t feel fair. For anyone shipping high-value products, I CANNOT recommend this company under these conditions.

I disregarded the poor reviews and still booked with the company. BIG MISTAKE. Not only that the courier missed 2 collections that are not automatically rebooked but alse deemed my parcel as damaged and diposed of. No refund given as the terms and conditions favors a rip-off of their customers stating: Collections are not guaranteed and Irish Parcels is not liable for any delays caused to your shipment.

They destroyed my parcels and refuse to do anything about it. They cited some nonsense about "our terms and conditions don't cover this" but they didn't stop them collecting the parcel in the first place. I would never use this service again.

From start to finish - not worth the money. Everything smashed to pieces even though properly packed in bubble wrap. Didn’t show up for pick up, had to drop to an access point. Spent 4 days at home as they claimed they would deliver with an ideal time frame of “end of day”.
Do not use this service with UPS.

Scam artists, entered the parcel dimensions and weight, got the price, paid, parcel collected and 2 days later received email demanding 122 euros for delivery stating parcel was now twice as thick as when collected, I did not pay and did not receive either my parcel or evidence of its sudden growth, complete Scam service, avoid at all cost

I waited in all day and the courier sis not arrive. No reposes from Irish Parcels either. Not impressed.

An honest company that works seriously, especially when you set the time, I bought two parcels, give me back the money in 3 days, and all of them arrived at the time you specified for me The parcel is received in the hands of the person written in the guarantee, 🙏 Thank you
