We have purchased twice through irug.co.nz, once at the end of 2020, and again in August 2025. Both times we’ve loved the rugs! Loved the colours, quality and price! Both times the rug has arrived about 7 days after purchasing. Highly recommend, but also see that other purchasers have said returns are to the USA, at your own cost.
Our rugs have been highly discounted, so under $1000 each time, so a risk we’ve been ok taking, and it has definitely worked out for us!

Realised I made a typo in my address , they tried to charge me $18 to fix it, you can do it through DHL for free

Rug arrived when I expected it to and was exactly as described. Love it and would happily purchase from Irugs again. I came here to check the reviews prior to purchase and was prepared for the worst, but decided to risk it as the rug was a great price and exactly what I was after. So glad I did :)

On 6 June 2024, I ordered a rug from irugs, but the tracking continued to show the rug had not moved from North Carolina. After investigating, I found the parcel had not been handed over to DHL for shipping. After writing numerous emails to the support team - with a frustrating response, I eventually did get help. They reordered a new rug and I have since received a rug from that reorder. The problem with irugs is that their customer service needs to be more efficient. The stated phone number says the office is closed! and it took many emails to eventually get a good outcome. The rug is perfect for what I wanted. As a company they need to check the orders and ensure they are on track.

This rug never turned up .
Scam , took the money for it though , live and learn .

Living in a remote part of NZ with little access to shops, I bought a rug online from irugs on the basis that it could be returned. Turns out that in reality that is not an option. It will cost more than the rug to return to Switzerland. I bought the rug from a NZ online trader for exactly that reason and was not expecting to return to an overseas address. This is dishonest trading.

Be aware if you buy from here and wish to return, the Fed Ex cost to return to SWITZERLAND will likely be more than the cost of the rug.

I bought a rug for £209. Costing me £82 using their FedEx service to return it to SWITZERLAND. This was not made clear at date of purchase.
This is an outrageous system. AVOID.

Hi, Bought a small hall runner for my caravan, size was perfect, price amazing and approx 1 week from America. Great service and really happy with the product. Will be getting more from them.

The rug I received and the rug I ordered are completely different. The images on their website have been brightened with the colors enhanced! I’ve ordered a rug believing it was modern, it looks like it came from a post war home! We also have to pay for the return, had I have seen this the word SCAM would have been ringing alarm bells.

I brought a large rug 315l by 245w for a bargain of $275

I came on here after to look at reviews and was really worried about what would arrive.

Honestly some people must just like to complain because my rug is so soft and great quality, looks exactly like the pictures aswel!!!

Customer service was amazing and arrived from America in 9 days!

Don’t listen to the bad reviews my experience has been amazing if buy again.

Bought a so-called outdoor mat but it's simply crap. It's meant to be rusty red but in 5 months it has faded to an insipid, washed out, dirty gold. I have emailed the supplier but fear I will have same experience with returns as many others. Wish I'd done my homework before purchasing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

Good quality product and was same as pictures on site.
Delivery took longer than stated because it was not from NZ but overseas.

Reading other reviews I was skeptical but thought what the hell. Ended up super happy with my rug and turned up 4 days early. Yes it feels a bit plasticy compared to wool rugs but it is made of polyester so you cant be to shocked there. Think most people aren't scrolling down and reading the thickness and other details relating to what they are purchasing which is why they aren't happy. And based of what people are saying the return process sounds bad so make sure you do this!

We bought two runners to replace a quality runner we had for ten years, started using one for two weeks before we opened the second, the amount of wear and fading in two weeks was shocking. I would like to upload a photo if I could. We have been extremely disappointed with the quality of these rugs. After three months they are manky and look like they need replacement.

This company is a scam. The rugs are very cheap quality and when you ask for a return or refund they will cost 3 times more than the price of the rug. Stay away from these clowns. They have a warehouse in NZ but when you try to return it, they will ask you to return it to Switzerland or USA.

Okay I wrote not happy with a company that gave all indications that they operated in New Zealand when in actual fact they operated off shore in my case America. I now have another review regarding my complete transaction: I ordered on the 12/04/23 and received my mat on the 19/04/23 the condition of the mat was new with a very heavy plastic wrapping, the tracking was spot on and I was given a day/date for delivery and this was also spot on.. So summarizing I would say I personally trust this company.. Our carpet 240 x240cm cost delivered $465 NZ dollars

I purchase a rug from rugs.co.nz because they clearly appeared to deliver goods from inside NZ. I THEN FOUND THAT THIS COMPANY IS IN FACT IRUGS.CO.NZ AND ONLY DELIVER FROM OVERSEAS. I feel this is a clear offence under the Goods Description Act as it gives a false impression of the time frame you are likely to receive your goods.

Absolutely disgusting refund policy. The return shipping on their FedEx account is $850 NZD. The rug costs less. Do not buy what you cannot see, the quality is cheap and nasty.
