This is bull I ordered a wig and just got my package today from island bargains and it looks like someone opened my package and slap they’re big a** head in my wig and they had the audacity to put it back in the box with the lace they had cut off

Sending and shipping items through IB…

Sending and shipping items through IB is an absolutely gruesome process. There is no communication with customers, it is very difficult to get a phone answered or an email returned. Packages get mislabled (which complicates the duty process) and the check in times and shipping seems to have zero urgency. Do research on other freight forwarders for your destination before resorting to use this broken "distribution center of dissoray"!

Just a terrible experience

Just a terrible experience. Shipped one package to the wrong island, despite being labelled correctly. Company doesn’t care, no resolution proposed. Missing package was critical for my yacht. It’s now 300 miles away from where it should be. The company doesn’t respond in a timely manner, and are so unprofessional. Avoid at all costs

I probably won't get my package after…

I probably won't get my package after this review, I stopped using Island Bargains because of the lack of communication and customer service. However, I needed a dress urgently for an event. Of course, I should have known better. You guys have to do better with customer service. I've had a package delivered since Monday last week. I requested air cargo. I'm calling the company and checking my log-in for updates on the package. Not much update was given. I called again this morning the initial call was fine, however after being transferred to air cargo. A very unprofessional lady answered the phone, talking a many other persons at the same time, telling someone she was on the phone but carrying on full conversations and not helpful.She had to ask for my name 2 times because she had soo many other conversations going on I was even to the point of asking someone to go pick it up from the wherehouse in miami. Up to now I am still lost and don't know when I will receive my package.

I live in Long Isand in the Bahamas

I live in Long Isand in the Bahamas. I have used Island Bargains for some time now with no problems. I drop packages when Im in Ft Lauderdale at the facility and or Amazon drop ship. Each country they ship to have different customs clearing regulations which i dont feel is Island Bargains fault. I will continue to use them and recommend Island Bargains to others.

Operating in a third world country

Embrace that they operate in the Turks and Caicos a third world country. It’s going to take a month to get anything from the US in your hands.
While their Ft Lauderdale staff is very good, once it arrives in the Turks and Caicos it is all manual and subject to the country controlled customs officer who may or may not get to clearing your items for weeks.

Thank you for the kind words to our FL staff! We know you communicate with them often. Kindly note that our system is fully automated to ease the entire shipping process for our customers.

In speaking with our Provo team, they confirmed there had been torrential rains and severe flooding in the area for several days prior to the shipment arriving. To avoid any potential damages, they had to wait until the water subsided before continuing operations. Coinciding with that timeframe there was also a National Holiday where all business were closed. Once the local office was able to safely open the containers to begin offloading and clearing cargo, they made special arrangements with warehouse staff and customs officers to work after hours in efforts to get caught up. While we understand this timeline can be frustrating and seem like we and/or customs are delaying the process, this simply is not the case. You may have been off island at the time and not realized the severity of this situation when preparing your online review. Being a customer since 2019, we do appreciate your business and hope that this temporary weather setback does not have an adverse effect on your opinion of our overall service. Buyer beware

Buyer beware. I don't usually leave very low or scathing reviews because most every business has highs and lows, good and bad. I am compelled to leave this review hoping to make an impression to not take advantage of clients and learn from your mistakes. That's how we improve. I researched several companies looking for one that delivers to Roatán, Honduras. I contacted Island Bargains based on their web presence. I followed their procedures to the letter: Created an account, received confirmation that account was active, even called them. Their website showed they deliver to Honduras. I included the word Roatán in my address. I mentioned Roatán when I called them. So, I ordered my merch from Amazon and tracked it to their warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale. The day the package arrived I called them. I spoke to Dennis. He said, "We don't service Roatán and haven't for 2 years." I mentioned their website listed Honduras as a serviced location and suggested they update website. He agreed. I wrote an Email and sent it to 2 recipients. I stated my position and asked them to deliver my package to another company, also in Ft. Laud., as compensation for my inconvenience. As of today, no response. Tried calling several times and got busy signal. If the company steps up and comes through and does the right thing I will update this review. You must follow your own policies/procedures as people are counting on you.

A disgrace of a business

Bar none the worse business I've every had the displeasure of using. Slow, sloppy, expensive and a wash with hidden charges. You should be shutdown for such appalling practices and I hope this and all your future endeavors go belly-up because that's all you deserve, disgusting.

I use Island Bargains because of my …

I use Island Bargains because of my previous experience, i have experience very good service from all staff members, however i do not agree with Island Bargains shipping fees. My wife and i have ordered a great amount of stuff and directed to Island Bargains which we feel some of our order should have been consolidated to save some cost. The only reason why we continue all delivery through Island Bargains as we had already given the address. We will be making more orders, however we are not sure we will be using Island Bargains services because of the many-many shipping fees we paid. We also feel the $10.00 Document Fee is skimming from clients and not needed. Our decision for further use of Island Bargains use will be changes to this area. Service is great additional cost totally not necessary. Thanks you
