The sweater and cardigan is beautiful and I can feel the quality and care that is been put into this. My reason for not providing five stars:
1. It is unclear if their products are " MADE IN ARAN ". I looked everywhere on the website and i see " Born in Aran / Ireland ". While a brand can be established in Aran, it does not mean the products are actualy made in Aran and instead in some sweat shop in Bangladesh.
2. The tracking system was extremely unclear, it was not provided in the email and I had to instead log into my account via ' Isles of Aran ' website and it was there i found out how long it took for the brand to send packages to Australia and that my good were actually four days ago. I recieved no alerts indicating my order was delivered. So we do need a lot of improvement in terms of communication.

The product is great, but at first I received the wrong item, and returning it was not easy as FedEx is terrible in Australia and really hard to deal with for returns and you didn’t provide all the information I needed to return the item.

Beautiful warm garment, exceptional quality and construction; loving the Donegal wool! Excellent communication and fast delivery. I’m 188cm, 77kg always wearing medium size but sized down to small for this occasion as recommended; the sweater fits perfectly, snug not tight - feels and looks slim and fitted. Will be buying more.

Today, my hand-knit cardigan arrived all the way from the Aran Islands, and I want to share this message of gratitude with you.

My beloved mother passed away last December due to Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. She loved Aran knits and always wanted to teach me how to knit; she dreamed of owning an Aran Islands cardigan one day. My mother’s name was Patricia Grace, and she deeply admired Irish culture.
Today, I welcome this beautiful Aran cardigan into my life and my home to honor and remember my mom. It is truly special that it was knit by hand, and I will proudly wear the legacy of those knitters here in the mountains of the Czech Republic.

Thank you for keeping this craft alive and for helping me fulfill a dream my mother held dear.

Very easy to order. The sweater I ordered was a gify, was beautiful, as expected and is now beloved.

Excellent quality and fast shipping

3 or 4 years ago I bought an 100% hand made sweater from one of Arans competitors and loved it. When I recently wanted to buy another it appeared the company no longer made ones 100% hand made so I took a chance and bought one from Aran. Both are beautiful but Arans I think is a little nicer. I'll be back in the fall to buy the one I really wanted (cost more) but looks perfect for New England winters. d-

Edited - initially had some troubles with a gift card I had purchased for my friend, but customer service reached out and were very helpful in sorting out the issue. My friend is very excited to now receive their sweater.
