i700 wind turbines 850 W Hybrid Charge Controller failed and would not disconnect the turbine from charging nor would it stop the turbine from spinning. I had to physically disconnect the phase wires at 4am and short the turbine. Instabreeze reps response: it has to be a problem with my setup because it ran for 1.5 years ...The problem with that flawed evasive logic is there was NOTHING else on the wind turbine circuit to cause a failure...NO INVERTER, NO AC GRID IN OR OUT . Only the wind turbine, a 100w solar panel, the FAILED CONTROLLER and the battery bank reading 53V is on the circuit. Their warranty is a scam and not worth the paper it's printed on sadly 😔

They have really good products. I have bought I-2000 turbines and I charge my lithium battery. The product has a really good performance.

Very BAD experience with Instabreeze. Purchased a 4KW charge controller to charge my lithium battery. Conversed back and forth with Instabreeze to insure that it was compatible with my Instabreeze Heli 4.0 wind turbine. They sent me this email after checking with their tech:

there can be less efficiency maybe but it works

now please send us your lithium battery datasheet? then we start productıon controller immediately.

Received the controller about a month after I purchased it which was fine so I installed this controller with the help of a certified electrician making sure that all was connected according to Instabreeze specs. We went ahead and energized it and it blew two capacitors immediately rendering it useless. I contacted Instabreeze immediately and recieved an email the next morning:

hello dear customer.

we are sad for this. but we send you 100% new product. and we made tests before ship.

and we made that controller for your battery settings.and before ship we warned you.and you accepted all conditions., you had ongrid turbıne and we send you offgrid controller.

there cant be any problem from our side. because we just programmed it for your batteries.

They refused to back their own product after they certified that it would work. Stay far away they are thieves! 1310.00 Gone! Dont make the same mistake

Amazing customer service they go above and beyond to make sure you get the right product and it works for what you need. The communication is top notch.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with!,their staff treats the customer like fools,the product is absolute trash,bought a 2000 watt turbine, it takes very strong winds to even turn the blades, the controller locks up the turbine just as it reaches the voltage they have it set to, customer support blames my inverter batteries, I asked to return for a refund after only a week and they make bogus claims as to why they won't give refund or exchange, so far out about 1500.dollars,

Positively the worst company I have ever delt with. The 1st few months the controller burnt out and they would not cover it and made me buy a new $500 controller. Then the 2nd new controller 9 months later lost programming and the reset button would not reset the system. I asked istabreeze for a manual on how to program the parameters back into the controller and they refused to supply them and would not provide any logical reason after a hundred emails back and forth. The 2000 Kw never turns out more than around 1000 Kw even in 50 knot winds. The system is 1980s technology I will never do business with a Turkey company again. I wish I could add photos of the burnt out unit to show the proof and the old technology. The inverter and batteries I purchased from companies in the USA came with instructions on how to program the systems.

I bought the permanent magnet generator - i800G 48V
They accidentally shipped the 12V version first.
The contact with customer support was very pleasant and fast.
The generator got replaced without hesitation.
I tested the product extensively and it performed according to the datasheet and absolutely met my expectations.
The overall quality is very good.
Over time i will see about the long-term durability.

Excellent product. Great manufacturer. I think this is the only turbine that actually performs to specification. Very helpful support too via email. Had my turbine ( i1500 ) running for over a year. Survived storm "Babet" last week too! ( it was wild up here in NE Scotland ! ) Really good performance. No issues at all. I expect that slip rings or bearings might need work at some time but that applies to all turbines. I've sent a few queries to Istabreeze and they've always responded the same day/next morning with really helpful information.

Istabreeze is a china manufacturer company who steals other countries flags and proxies their merchandise under the false pretenses. The quality is so bad, they deliver products defective from the start. The coil windings are so bad that you will not even get 1/3 of the specs you are paying for. The strator is poorly designed and lack’s quality control. Please be warned they will not refund you even when on the same day of deliver it was defective. The coils have broken wires. They hide behind merchant relays. Invest into something that will last, perhaps even better china windmills. Amazon has banned them for good. I got the istabreeze i2000 worst mistake of my life.

Their response, improper installation location not improper installation. I have numerous windmills in the proximity but safe distance and all of which had installed by a license contractor, electrician including this one. Your fault because you trusted us.
