Die Fahrt von Orosei nach Olbia mit Andres war angenehm, sicher und schnell. Andres war sehr freundlich und hat auf meine Bedürfnisse als Fahrgast immer gut gehandelt, so dass wir das Ziel schnell und wie geplant erreicht haben. Ich kann Italy-Taxi gut empfehlen. Die Reservierung, die pünktliche Fahrt und Bezahlung ist einwandfrei abgelaufen. Einziger Negativpunkt: Der Merzedes-Bus wer für einen Fahrgast zu gross.

Havde booket transport fra Val Gardena til Bolzano for 2 voksne og et barn på 2 år.
Jeg havde bestilt en autostol og betalt ekstra for det.
Jeg tjekkede flere gange med selskabet og fortalte hvor vigtigt det var at autostolen var med. Jeg fik hver gang af vide at alt var klart og autostolen ville være med.
Taxaen kom som aftalt og havde desværre ingen autostol med. Sagde vi nej til at køre med, ville vi ikke nå vores fly. En utilgivelig situation at sætte forældre i 🙏🏻

PS Hvis jeg skrev en klage kunne jeg få prisen for autostolen dækket 🥵

Italy-Taxi is part of Connecto. Both have a dishonest way of hiding that the deposit they demand on their rides are non-refundable.

They charge 25% penalty for canceling a ride even if it's days in advance. This is unreasonable and if you had the time to dispute it legally, this company would lose because non-refundable deposits for a service that never happened cannot justify "damage" to the provider that amounts to 25% of already steep and exaggerated fees. By law a nonrefundable deposit can only amount to what may be deemed reasonable damage.

For a ride from Fiumicino to Pisa the fee is half a grand. That's crazy. Even crazier is to claim that if you cancel it 5 days before the scheduled date you owe them 25%.

Also, a non-refundable deposit has to be signaled conspicuously. They bury it in "Terms and Conditions" but do not provide the summary as is required in the page where you make the payment. (The policy is unclearly stated and buried in a fine print document 9 pages long, impossible to read on a phone app).

They advertise their rides as cancellable on the booking page but neglect to state that you lose your deposit. It's clear that the "Terms and Conditions" page is designed to mislead and that the company doesn't want you to know that you'll lose your money. It's also customary to warn a customer about to cancel that if you cancel you'll lose your deposit. They don't do this, of course. All their competitors are cancellable AND refundable in full so why should they be honest about their dishonest practice?

Choose a different company for your transportation needs. This one makes money out of the unpredictability of travel plans, which in Italy is especially volatile due to frequent delays, strikes, etc.

DO NOT BOOK. VERY BAD PRACTICES, UNETHICAL.

I paid a deposit for my trip
to Italy -Pisa 6th June 2024. I have not had any communication from this company, I believe now it’s a scam. My experience has made me think twice about booking anything on-line as it seemed legitimate. These people are so clever. It may not be large sums but in the end we are out of pocket.

Cancelled taxi 3 hours before booking Deposit NOT refunded. DO NOT USE!!!!!

Do NOT book anything with this taxi firm unfortunately i didnt read the reviews before i booked a taxi!! make you pay 50% the say they cant get a taxi and dont refund the money. No reply to emails I guess i can say goodbye to that 25 quid

Did not receive the money back. I paid 50%. Click on the website or send them an email. You’ll get a reply. : We wish to assure you that despite these financial hurdles, we are actively working to address any outstanding refunds (48 in total) by the end of this year (2024). Furthermore, for each refund not yet processed, “” END OF THIS YEAR. seriously?!

Do not use this company. Booked a taxi between Pompeii and Sorrento for the following day and paid the required 50% deposit. An email came straight back to say they were too busy to do my trip so cancelled it still not had a refund even though I have e mailed them several times

Recently, I used Italy-Taxi.it on a trip between Pisa airport and Tuscany. Their drivers were pleasant, professional, and on time. The cars were clean, and we felt secure on the road. Booking was relatively straightforward, despite a slightly buggy website. The card payment terminal gave up on one of the trips, and I had to pay in cash. Overall, their service was top-notch.
