Dispute Process Lacking

I hired a freelancer for a low code project, the tool tracks changes so I could see no progress was made. At the end of a week, the freelancer charged for the bulk of the work despite no evidence provided of work in the period. I used the dispute process to try and resolve the issue, it was clear they did not review the case properly, asked for no additional information and simply split the difference so we were charged half the bill despite no work being completed. I would not use ITHire again as this crucial safety net just isn't good enough.

In case something goes wrong, Ithire upholds the Hourly Protection system, which enables one to dispute freelancer’s hours if they feel the freelancer has billed for more than than they actually put into your project.
We're sorry that our dispute specialists didn't meet your expectations when they initially offered you partial refund. The hourly dispute process reviews freelancer’s Work Diary as it's the primary criteria for understanding whether time worked qualifies for Ithire Hourly Protection. Hourly Disputes cover how time is logged on the contract, not the quality of work produced.
