I heve been using a Linux VPS from IWIHOST for a project that needed root access and a custom software stack. The choice of operating systems was userful because I could use the distribution I was already comfortable with. The server itself has been stable for my workload, and I have not had to deal with the resource limitations I was used to on shared hosting. I also appreciate having NVMe storage becouse several parts of the application rely on frequent disk operations.
