Good value with a varied choice of classes. The gym is clean and simple to use with lots of options in terms of equipment.

How is posible to don't have acces to the gym when i'm a member from 29.01.2023.i've payed, i have the email of confirmation also with direct debit confirmation email beut i'm not allowed in the gym because nowone can set my direct debit, but i'm the first month payed already. What's happened with my time my money?Why nobody from finance departament don't contact me to sort this problem?

Have been a member for a few weeks and am enjoying. Only downfalls is that whilst there is a lot of equipment it does get really busy at peak times.
Would also be great if there were more yoga/pilates classes.

The vibe and aesthetic is very nice especially during the later hours when it’s more quiet

A lot of equipment which is great and not having to wait for the use of it is even better.

The gym is spacious which is good, the equipment (treadmill, cross trainer, rowing machine) are quite dated, I have been to other gyms where their machines are better quality (tv, doesn’t squeak, isn’t wobbly)
The staff are really friendly
WiFi is pants, once through the door you can’t even get the barcode up to get in and then listening to music is hit and miss.

Great gym, loads of equipment and loads of classes.

PT at Bristol - Ivaylo Velikov made me pay £300 upfront for 10 one on one sessions. I received extremely poor/unprofessional service from the get go including cancelled sessions/would take days to reply/training programme wasn't trailored to my personal goals. After one session i decided i didn't want to carry on due to these reasons and asked for a refund for £270 for the remaining 9 sessions i had not had. He took it VERY personal that i didn't want to continue and replied back with a very unprofessional message making sarcastics jokes and only offered me £150. I emailed the Gym manager Nadiyah who did not want to help what so ever. I received a really unhelpful and blunt email back, telling me i had to resolve this with the PT. This was 2 months ago i still have not had ANY money back!! I am so shocked and disgusted with this service from a well established gym. I was promised a service which i did not recieve , the management have been awful with supporting me, no one is wanting to help me or willing to give my money back. DO NOT use this personal trainer he has stole money from someone else before which is on his Facebook reviews. I would like someone from head office to contact me immediately so this can be resolved and i would like JD to really evaluate who they employ as this reflects badly on you!

Gym is big, has all equipment needed and is nice and clean! I feel very comfortable in there

This is my 1st gym experience, and I was extremely nervous being older and bigger lady. But once I was in there, I was fine. Still a bit nervous about asking staff questions though.

I only do classes but they are really good, and a nice bunch of trainers and people around.
My only issue is to get in & out of the gym with mobile app. Would be great if an authorization no.would be also sent as alternative to be able to use the keypad there.Otherwise staff is very helpful so they let me in/out :))

Gym was a mess. Also, seems to be only 1 of some of the more popular leg machines. The free weight room was amazing, but it was basically empty with 10+ benches...seems like a huge waste of space.

Like the flow of the gym, and nice spacious studio. Gym staff are not very clear to spot. Spent 15mins walking around trying to find staff to help me with a piece of equipment and was unable to find anyone, so had to miss out on that unfortunately. I Dont like the app, very very basic. Having just moved across from PureGym i'd expected the JD Gym app to offer at least the same - it doesnt. No work outs to follow, no goals to set, no personal progress tracking, etc and unable to book onto classes in advance. All of these things are provided on the PureGym app. Could really use this on the app as with not being able to find staff when you need, theres a lack of help/direction for anyone that feels they need it.

Great gym!
Recently switched and for the 2 months i’ve gone there’s been absolutely no problems.
Staff are very helpful and the substantial amount of platforms and machines that is offered here make this gym far more superior than any other gym in the area.

A great gym with good facilities. Great that it is opem 24 7. Good value for money. If they fix the showers so they are warm not cold it would be a 5 star.

The gym is always a very cold.

Dumb bells upstairs do not go up high enough.
