Men’s urinals all out of order. Men’s to8let hand dryer out of order. Drinking water only one tap working in gym area. Also several bits of equipment not working for over 2 weeks. Was good but standards massively dropped .
Have a tour around before joining.

This gym was great when it opened. Few years on, machines are often out of order. Mens changing room no hand dryer, you guessed it, out of order. Used to regularly be cleaned, now rarely done. No new machines since it opened...think twice before joining, oh and the car park situation is not like dodgem cars.

I’ve been training at JD Gyms for a while now and it’s been a really good experience overall. The gym is well equipped, clean, and has a great atmosphere for training whether you’re new or more experienced.

I also wanted to mention the manager, Euan, who is always approachable and helpful. He clearly makes an effort to support members and keep things running smoothly. He’s also got a great sense of humour which adds to the friendly vibe in the gym.

It’s good to see management that’s present and engaged with members. Overall, a great place to train.

Im stuck outside with my code not working and need help getting into the gym. This is a joke. I scanned in twice fine and now it won't let me in at all.

Female changing rooms beyond cold. This is an ongoing problem for months. Ceiling tile missing in changing room. There is a heater in the office for JD staff so I'm sure they woulld not mind you getting changed in there if you want anywhere need room temperature!

The gym floor is fantastic, lots of equipment and it’s clean. Members mostly seem nice and friendly.

The class timetable lets it down unfortunately. JD burn, x fit and Bootcamp are ok but are all very similar circuits classes. The rest is just combat, pump, yoga and spin. There’s not a lot of variety, especially in the evening. Only 1 evening class on both Thursday and Friday.

If you want a gym to train in, I would 100% recommend. If you enjoy mostly classes, you’d be better elsewhere. I mostly train in this gym and pay extra for payg classes in other places to make up for what JD lacks. It makes it very expensive for me unfortunately.

I have been a member since earlier this year and ver impressed with the facility. I love the cleanliness, quality equipment and great atmosphere in the gym. There is a wide range of classes, love the yoga class and very happy with my PT Kayle, his professionalism, positivity and knowledge is boundless (10/10).

I Have been here a few years now and cant see me changing. One of the cleanest gyms on the wirral. (I have been a few) Friendly enough Atmosphere, manager is great. Lots of different staff and personal trainers with different classes available and experience to offer. I went with Kayle as my PT after being in his morning classes. He is excellent, his knowledge exceeds and my expectations. His energy and positivity alone is uplifting and exactly what you want in a PT.

Andy’s Wednesday early morning spin is something worth getting out of bed for, even on the coldest, wettest or frosty mornings.
High energy, fabulous music and a really good way to kick off a “hump day”.

Great equipment and massive space to workout.

JD is a fantastic gym! It’s got a huge range of equipment in a really big space, so even during peak times, you are able to use what you want without having to queue. The gym itself is always immaculately clean and tidy, as are the changing rooms. There’s a great range of classes too which you don’t need to book on to. We have PT sessions with Jade and she is amazing at motivating us and pushing us to work hard. I’d definitely recommend both JD gym and Jade as a PT.

Easy access, lots of up to date equipment, great music and Jade is the best PT! She’s encouraging and has really helped my form and technique. 🌟💚

Absolutely love this place. Everyone is so friendly. Staff are always helpful. I've had a few PT sessions with different coaches that have improved my form on various exercises and had coaches show me exercises when I'm working out on my own that have changed my technique for the better. A really friendly atmosphere and a great place to work out

The best spin instructors - Stevie Baby & Kate. Never boring & always a laugh. Very sweaty class! It’s great!

Me and my husband attend Kate and Stevie Baby’s spin classes and have been doing for a few years now. They are the best spin classes we’ve been to and we’ve been to a few other gyms/classes previously! They make it so enjoyable (despite being hard work!) the music is amazing and classes are always full! If Kate and Steve weren’t there, we’d probably follow wherever they go.

One recommendation to JD Bromborough is please invest in the bikes and fix them. There are so many that need sorting and it is frustrating for people to join the class to not get a bike that works and have to leave, or not be able to do the session properly.

Perfect gym, staff, members, classes, equipment you name it! Joined due to the fact the spin masters Kate and Ste Allan began teaching their unique classes there and can honestly say, it's the best move I made! Keep up the good work JD Bromborough 👏

Have only just got back into going to the gym and was nervous at first but I now really enjoy it. There’s a great range of machines, really good classes, the staff are really friendly and there’s a really nice community feel. I’ve had one to one sessions with Jade (PT) who is lovely and has been amazing. Jade has massively helped me with my physical fitness but also my confidence.
